In the past years since the year of 2000 i have never seen anything done to promote Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

I mean to say i had not seen any kind of banners or hoardings placed at several places in the city or Kyunki's advertisement being done on radio channels.

I have always heard n read Ekta saying that Kyunki is a show which never needs any kind of promotion in whatever manner it is done but now when i step out of my house i see a big hoarding of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi placed on main-road n everywhere around the city, not only that renown radio channel again n again promote Kyunki inbet'n their programs.

All this makes me feel that kyunki is losing its grip.

I think Ekta needs to change her statement cuz after 7 years Kyunki afterall has to rely on advertisement n promotion.

i dont think its 'loosing its grip'. i mean sure the track may be stupid right now but overall its been an amazing show and i think it will continue to get high TPRs. Especially w\ higher possibilites of Smriti returning and KN getting together. The TPRS have been no.1 lately. i think its doing great. 😊

well kyunki would've done much better if this new generation was not introduced as most ppl are least bothered about this new gen.even recently in an article it was said that kyunki's kt is not needed.so this shows how audience are uninterested in the new gen track

this is the problem with ekta.kzk, kyunki, kggk is suffering a loss after ekta introduced this new generation

I agree

and I dont' think kyunki's younger gen have been given a decent chance, most of their stories are not even fully developed so i think within time they'll have their own space..where as the older gen has been given 2-3yrs

I agree with you jhanvi..thats true. Kyunki can get its grip back real easy, even if the stroyline is boring.. their are so many plots that can be brought back..e.g meera stroy, mandera, and all those other villans. 😉

I think who ever wrote that Teen Bahuraniyan is not raised its TRP's after Smriti's entry has no knowledge of TRP's as there has been a significant rise in the TRP's on the other hand even after the cross over episodes and the thousands of hoardings whch have been suddenly put up all over Kyunki is where it is. The show can run without an actor i dont deny that but also lets not deny that an actor can also run a show otherwise you think Chak De India could have been a hit with Johnny Lever as the coach or Paintal could have made Om Shanti Om a hit or for example an Anupam Kher (who is a brilliant actor) instead of Aamir Khan in Tare Zameen Par would have been so effective. One can argue till the horses come home but there is no doubt that Smriti Irani was the best actor in Kyunki and the best actress on Indian television. So lets give talent a thumbs up and lets hope that the latest article which claims that Smriti is returning to Kyunki so that all we Kyunki fans can settle down to watch the show regularly and happily.
