Thulsi advises Nandini to forget completely about Ansh and make a fresh start. She hopes that Nandini will become her daughter-in-law soon.
Karan will be surprised that Tanya was once a friend of Ansh. He does not want to speak to her. Tanya tries to explain. But he can't digest the fact that it was Tanya who separated them. Nandini says that Ansh would have used somebody else if Tanya was not available. Moreover she has helped them a great deal now. Karan over comes his anger.
As Thulsi enters the house, Mihir starts abusing her. He says she has become poisonous and is responsible for creating a rift between her sons. She has set the house on fire. So he says that all relationships between them are finished. He offers Shradanjali to their relationship. Inspite of the death of their relationship, they will continue to stay under the same roof for the sake of children and society. Thulsi is broken and tells Mihir not to utter things which can never be undone. Savitha is a witness to the whole scene and tries to stop Mihir but he does not pay any heed. Thulsi requests Savitha to do something. Savitha says that she is also hurt by whatever Mihir just said. But he had drawn a Lakshman Rekha by asking her not to attend the proceedings of the court and she had crossed the lines and now will have to be separated. She says that she supports Mihir.
Payal is having a conversation with abhishek. She expresses her concern for Ansh. Abhishek thinks that nothing would affect him, as he is the root cause for everything.
Ansh is speaking to himself. He is very angry with Thulsi for having separated him from Nandini. He says that he will make her repent. Mihir enters the room and tries to console Ansh. He again sheds some crocodile tears. Ansh's birthday is a few days away (Seems like that would be the D-day) and he would be lonely on that day without Nandini and Maa. Mihir says that his father would be with him and promises that on the day of his birthday he would gift him his Maa.
Thulsi and Mihir are in their room. Both of them think that they cannot live without each other.
Ahuja, a client of Virani industries comes home and invites the family to a party to celebrate the golden jubilee of is marriage. Mihir is not interested. But Savitha accepts the invitation.
There is a caring scene between Tanya and Nandini. They also decide to go to a party that evening.
Thulsi is all decked to go to the party (The orange sari in which she kills Ansh). Ansh climbs down the stairs and says " A Thulsi"
