A Fw days back, Ram and I along with our family and closest friends visited Wasabi, the Japanese restaurant at Taj Mahal Palace and Towers. Overlooking the Gateway of India, with the fantastic view of the Arabian Sea the ambience is just perfect for a quiet dinner with your loved ones. We were a group of 12 and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

I am crazy about the prawn tempura and sushi the restaurant serves and enjoyed them immensely with my glass of champagne. My family ordered oysters, sashimi and lobsters, which were all delicious. Ram's a meat eater and he's not that fond of seafood, so he just tasted a little of everything. There was ice cream for dessert, but by the end of the meal I was too stuffed to eat anything else. It was awesome because with our busy schedules we hardly spend time with each other and this was the ideal evening after a very long time.
