I was in 7th grade when Kyunki started and I was hooked to it right from the first day. Then, I was made to believe by some friends that watching K-soaps was just pathetic. But, I secretly watched it once in a while with a guilty conscience, because I also knew that they churning total BS. Then, moved to US of A and lost hold on it. I used to catch it whenever I went vacationing in India and then.............. I stumbled across IF and life changed! 😃 I got my daily scoops of Shanti-Niketan all over again. I was a silent reader for a long long time. I never really had the time to watch the videos but I silently thanked Nimmi everyday for her wonderful updates! Way to go, Nims! 👏

Now, I read the updates once in a while but am not hooked to it anymore. But one can't take away the glorious moments of Kyunki in spite of the crap that we are shown now. My favorite times were Mihir's death and comeback, Gautam's birth, Gomzi's return, Ansh's madness and then, the good moments ceased. But all in all, it has been a great journey and 7 years is indeed a long time. I hope that they don't keep it going just for the heck of it. But the magician that Ekta is, I am sure she will never let Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi die.

7 years!! WOW!! When you think about it, thats a LONG time. I have watched the show from the beginning, yes you red correctly, the beginning!😆 Though I did stop watching because of some stupid tracks, but came right back again to watch it. What can I say? Kekta Mai makes it really addictive.😳 Goshh, I can't believe this was running when I was 7!!😛😆

I was visiting India in 2001, when I saw headlines in newspapers "Mihir meets Tulsi". What kind of news are these? Of curiosity, I watched the show when Anupam and Tulsi were to get married, and Mihir with his lost memory, runs into Tulsi. I came back to US, and was thrilled to learn that all the previous epis were available on videos, watched them. Even though I stopped watching the show, I read the updates very regularly.

I know my family and friends have given up on the show a while ago, but my need to know what happens to all the characters that I have known for so long is too great to give up. I just have to know-and I wouldn't have this need met if it wasn't for the India Forums platform!

We have whined, complained, criticized, appreciated, enjoyed etc. the show together, but the interest in it is a common bond that binds us all together. I am glad to be part of the Forum family. Thanks very much.

7 years.. long timee.. juz liek evrybody has said.. i didnt watch KSBKBT frm the beginning.. and i hav missed the first yr actualli.. I remember mi cuzin wud run to mi mami's place exactli at 11:00pm and her mom wud run after her. i wondered wht was sooo interesting in those serials tht ppl wud actualli waste 30 mins sitting infrnt of their tv to watch a show.. gradualli i started watchin thm juz to find wht was soo interesting and i actualli found it out.. it was how the show ended.. it wud make u want to watch the next epi and thz how i started watchin KSBKBT.. newaiz Congratss to evryone in here

WOW 7 yrs.. i remember when it first came out..i use to tell all my friends how great and fun it was to watch it.. I still enjoy it..yes i havent seen alot in between but eventually catched it up..i love it..
