well, i'm fully in agreement with you on thinking that this woman is not tulsi. i just don't think that she's been planted by mandira.

why do i think she's not tulsi? 'cause it was very weird how the doctors who had apparently done the plastic surgery on her, told her that she was mihir virani's wife. at that time, everyone had presumed tulsi virani dead, burnt in a truck accident. if the doctors knew that she was mihir virani's wife, why didn't anyone notify the family?

it was deliberately kept a secret - which means that someone wants to benefit from this woman appearing in the virani household.

i also thought that the whole time that this woman was "under surgery" would also give the medical team enough time to brain-wash her into learning stories about the virani family, what had happened in the past, etc. here, i agree - the stories can be given either by mandira or tulsi. but only tulsi (the real one, ie) could have given her all the "tulsi-principles" - which would convince anyone that this fake lady is actually tulsi-d. like the little mannerism that started convincing kt that this fake lady is tulsi-d.

but i must admit: i've been wondering what mandira has been upto all this time. so it would be very interesting indeed to see what story is coming up.

of course, all this assumes that there is a story coming up! which is difficult to imagine 'cause it assumes that someone with a brain is in the ksbkbt creative team. which is very difficult to imagine. 😆

Like I've said before, I think Smriti will be back. That's my gut feeling. Ekta is a shrewd businesswoman, she knows very well that ppl identify Kyunki with Smriti. She knows that it is not a good idea to replace the lead actor in her no 1 soap after 7 long years. It's bad for TRPs and Ekta has only 1 thing on her mind: TRPs. 😆

I'm fairly certain Ekta will bring Smriti back. The only question is how? It'd be pretty typical of her to simply recycle the Swati Dixit storyline from KGGK. 😆 But it seems that the writers are portraying the current Tulsi as the real deal. It can't be Kesar (why would she suddenly get all cosy with Mihir?) and I don't think Mandira has anything to do with this. Or Meera for that matter. No it'll be something different (and silly I'm sure). Who knows, maybe Ekta will go for a reverse plastic surgery like Aroona Irani did in Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand. Or maybe Tulsi will one day wake up and find out that it's all a dream: she never escaped from the asylum at all. 🤣

I'd feel bad for Gautami if she's just thrown out like that. She's doing an excellent job IMHO, esp considering the less-than-stellar material she has to work with. The funny thing is, a softer, slower, mellowed down Tulsi is the way you'd reasonably expect her to be at this stage of her life (she's nearly 70). I mean, no matter how strong she was earlier, age does catch up you know. Anyway, let's see what nonsense they manage to come up with for us. 😃
