battle of the giants???????

its seems as if Ekta is trying to fend of Smritis popularity by deliberately trying to make all of us hate her. She seems to realise that Tulsi and Smriti are so well blended that she needs kill the character , as otherwise she will not have any logic in replacing her.She has bungled up though for its very inexplicable how a person like Karan or a daughter can hate that very person or not trust that very person who cared for them against the whole world.
