Okay, I need to vent.

As always, Kyunki sweeps away with the most undeserving nominations. Barring Akashdeep, Ronit and Reshmi, no one deserves to even be nominated. SPA turns out to be a total Kekta behind kisser. 🤢🤢 Pawan Shankar as Sanjay in TSZTSA, totally outclasses all of the actors in Fav. Bhai, Beta and Naya Sadasa (male) categories but since TSZTSA is no Kekta production, SPA blatantly ignores it🤢 and puts up non-actors like Lakshya, KT, Prachi and Neev, while good actors like Pawan, Manoj, Kiran (as Sudhanshu of TSZTSA), Harsh Chayya, Mita Vishest, Ali Asgar, Smriti Irani (strictly for TSZTSA), Shilpa Tusalkar sweep the dust. Utterly ridiculous. Never was fond of SPA, never will be. The nominations are biased to the height of favoritism. Crappy nominations + Undeserving winners + Popular (non)actors = SPA. They can nominate Lakshya who cannot act to save his life in 4-5 categories while they do not nominate good actors such as Pawan Shankar and the likes in one category?! Gauri Tejwani does not deserve to be nominated - not for Fav Jethani, not for Bahu. Sakshi Tanwar/Paro/Janki devi deserves to be nominated instead. Bhumi totally deserved to be in Fav Behen category. Kiran Karmakar, Sudhanshu of TSZTSA, so deserved to be nominated for Fav. Pati category. When they can nominate Shati Kapoor for Saar Akash, why the *bleep* can't they nominate Renuka Shahane for Kora Kagaz for Fav. Beti, Jehtani, Behen and Patni? 😡 Heaven knows the women deserves to be there! Geetanjali T.'s act as Maya in KAA is ignored. The most undeserving people are nominated. Whatever happened to Varun Badola, the Rohit Roy-Sangeeta Ghosh pairing and Sangeeta's acting in Virasaat? Not produced by Ekta so no nominations?🤢🤢 I seriously don't give two hoots to these awards. Nimmi, you might want to change SPA (Star Parivar Awards) to EPA(Ekta Parivar Awards) in the title to make it more accurate. Sorry, I'm too pissed off ATM. For Jethani, WHY, OH WHY is Uma not nominated? She deserves every bit of it. For Fave Jodi, what is the point of having nominations if you are going to have GHT in the category? 🤢 Why aren't Prem-Mukti nominated? For Devrani, if anyone deserves to be nominated, it most certainly ain't those who are nominated. Pooja of Kora Kagaz deserves to be nominated, and so does Shilpa Tusalkar (Sudha of TSZTSA).

As expected, SPA is a pile of crap. I'm only watching SPA for the performances of Renuka (that is, if she has one), Sakshi, Sangeeta and Hussain Tina. Don't give a damn who wins because the awards aren't credible in the first place.The awards might as well be given without the nominations. All in all, SPA is nothing it promised to be. It's the same ol' load of cow dung.

Poor Manoj. Ekta is really unprofessional...she lets her personal differences interfere with the awards. I really wanted Manoj to win something this year. It would have been his last win as Prem...😭

Yeah, Bhoomi should have been nominated in the favourite behen category and in the naya sadasya category...and Manthan should have been in the naya sadasya category as well. I'm surprised that out of all the characters from the new generation of Kyunki, Lakshya and KT were the only ones who got nominated as new comers! 😕

I completely agree with you. I guess all of Ekta's favourites get nominated. And the favouritest of the favourites walk away with the awards. 🤢 🤢
I honestly fail to understand why Bhumi wasn't nominated in the behen category. AND WHY WASN'T PREM NOMINATED IN THE FAVOURITE BHAI CATEGORY?? 😡 😡 😡 And well Lakshya and KT totally deserved to be nominated too. They may not be the best of actors, but they have been Kyunki's main couple since the last 4 months or so, and their track has been going on, since like, ages.
This happened in the year when Rajeev Khandelwal left KTH, too. He quit about 2 weeks before these awards were held, and therefore Sujal wasn't nominated in ANY category at all,totally ignoring the fact that he had been there for the entire year..I mean, why? If you are making a parivar based on the audience's favourites, then you should give everyone an equal chance. Gawd, atleast the nominations should be fair..!
As far as TSZTSA is concerned, Ekta pulled out of it na, and she must be having bitter feelings towards it, so they decided to make sure it didn't win anywhere. Bunch of scumbags. 🤢 🤢

SPA UPDATE- NOMINATION SPECIAL
Parvati blows through a conkshell to start off the show. She then tells a
little about the spa in the past, and says that we decide who wins, etc.
She says that something special has been arranged this time, and
everyone is making preperations. She then says that she will take you to
meet the people.
She first goes to baa [of kyunki..] and she is making a rangoli. Then
Parvati starts to help her. Parvati tells her that she has helped everyone
enough and should get a rest, and baa agrees. baa says that everyone is
busy in preparations. parvati says that p[eople usually forget to help
elders.Baa says that she still remembers when she was teaching her kids
how to walk.

and it shows flashes between both pairs. Prachi falls for it!

All the women are crowding around in a crclie, adn Parvati asks them to
work. It reminds her of Om,and she has a flashback. Aruna Irani
(pretending to be Janki Devis mother) comes. She asks what happened to
Parvati, she says she remembers Om. She says she is the only person in
the function without a partner to hold her hand. Her mother says it
doesnt matter that he is not with her, because their rishta is still alive.
Parvati has flashbacks of Om, and starts to cry. She looks at a diya beside
her that is about to go out, and puts her hands around it. She then sees
Om. He smils at her, and she looks at him and cries. They both stand up.
He tells her that he is always with her, and always near her. They both
hug.

No kidding! Everyone should be given a fair chance, regardless of what Ekta thinks of them.

The funniest part is when her favourites get those awards, and she acts all surprised and happy...like she didn't know about the winners in advance!

I know you dislike Lakshya-KT, but I really wanted them to be nominated. What ticks me off the most is the reason behind their exclusion from that category -- Ekta's biased tactics! This year she's trying to promote Kayamath...which explains why Neev-Prachi were nominated despite being a couple for just two months, while LKT (who have been interacting for ten months) weren't.

As for Reshmi/Bhoomi, I truly hope she wins... 😊
