Well, your argument makes a lot of sense.. especially the parts about ratings.. but from what I know of Balaji productions and their tactics to get hight ratings this is what I think will happen...

1)Laksh will be missing after accident... (viewers will wonder if he is dead or not.. and hope he will come back soon...hence will watch day after day...waiting to catch the episode when he will make his re-entry)
I'm thinking that they will have found a body in some other car or something and they will all assume that he's dead.
2) Since Laksh will be missing, wedding will get cancelled and KT will be very very depressed... who will take advantage of the situation, Eku and get close to her...(Everyone loves Eku's acting, hence ratings will remain to see Eku and his ways...) Agree totally.

3) KT will be pregnant at the same time Bhoomi will discover the truth of Mayank and reveal it to everyone. (Bhoomi's journey to the truth..will keep the mystery going and keep the audience at the edge of their seats and not let the ratings drop) Yepp.. Think that will happen too...And then of course they'll all think that she will have to marry somebody as she needs support since Lakshya isn't there anymore...

4) To save KT's "izzat", and from becoming an un-wed mother...a wedding will have to take place and Eku will step up. Tulsi will not be able to stop it, b/c everyone will be Eku's side including KT and Mihir. (Again all the suspence of marriage, preganancy will not let ratings drop) Agree again.

5) Laksh may then come back on the day of the wedding... of course now the TRP's will go rocketing... cuz audience love that kinda of twists... but my guess KT will end marrying Eku...and same old saga of crying over first love and being completely and totally miserable will continue...with no effect to ratings... Then I think it'll be shown that Lakshya has lost his memory some time back and some people that found him or something saw his wallet and took him to SN. There Lakshya sees KT's marriage happening and he remembers everything again. And he backs off thinking KT's going to be somebody's else or whatever. But I dunno, I think that maybe at the last minute, Lakshya will come back and marry KT. But maybe you're right. It could also happen that after Lakshya backs away and Eklavya marries KT, one day the three encounter each other...And Eklavya's truth is revealed and KT and Lakshya reunite. I just want to see a happy couple for once! 😊

That is what I think... while your argument was really good 👏 I think it was too "positive" for a balaji production...if you know what I mean...😉 I mean two lovers actually getting married in K-world????
