We've been told that Rakshanda Khan and her on screen son-in-law from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi , Manav Vij (Joydeep), share an amazing friendship off screen.
After hearing about an incident that happened on the sets recently, we believe this dosti is for real.
One-take artiste
A source from the set reported that Rakshanda and Manav were all set to shoot an emotionally intense scene for the show.
"The scene was such that Rakshanda had to say these really long lines. It was a very emotionally charged sequence between her and Manav," says a unit guy.

However, when Manav heard that Rakshanda had to say these really long lines, he requested the director to take his reaction close ups and let him off for the day.
"He was joking about the fact that Rakshanda wouldn't be able to deliver the lines.
He was worried that she may delay the shoot, and hence asked to finish his work before she started hers."
To his surprise, not only did Khan deliver that scene in one take, but also moved him to tears.
When asked about the incident, Manav reveals, "Yes, I was quite touched by the way she said those lines and the way she emoted in it.
In fact, I didn't realise that I had tears rolling down my eyes while she performed. It was quite an emotional moment for everyone on the sets."
Kya item hai!
When asked if he was stunned that Rakshanda performed so well, he says, "She's a terrific actress.
There are no two opinions about it. I was looking for an easy way out from the scene."
After the scene was canned, Manav surprised Rakshanda with a cake to congratulate her on performing so well.
When asked about this incident, Khan says, "Yes that was really sweet of him. He's a genuinely nice guy and I was totally stunned when I saw him with a cake.
I couldn't believe he had actually taken the trouble to go out and get me a cake!" Some actors from the Kyunki unit reveal that Manav is so charmed by Rakshanda that at times he jokingly calls her 'saasumaal' instead of 'saasumaa'.
