The EKLS track leaves a bit too much to be desired.
Poor characterization:
Eklavya - WTH is wrong with him? He was one of the few people who noticed KL romance. (Ie. When it was Bhumi's marraige he caught Lakshya right-handed wanting to get inside Bhumi's room. In B's room, there was Archita & Bhumi - two people Lakshya will least likely have a crush on. The third person was KT so it was sooo OBVIOUS he has a crush on her.) His character is swatting flies. They've ruined its grace. From a responsible, ideal son to someone who blatantly believes someone's words. It's too unrealistic. The way things are going, If I told him he'd find gold in the Sahara Desert if he searched hard enough, he'd actually search it.
Lakshya - I've never understood his character. 🤔 It's soo poorly written that there is nothing to talk about. His character is without much depth, obeying every command of his mother. Playing around, I can understand but his character is so loosely written that it wouldn't matter as much as an ounce if his character was cut out from the whole track, if not the show.
KT - From day one, her character failed to impress me. It left much to be desired from Tulsi's "shadow". While Tulsi's a strong, rebellious woman, KT comes out as a whiney, annoying, wannabee village girl.🤢
Saniya - Never really understood her character. 😕 Ok...London return - I give her that but her character is so weakly written you cannot categorize her white, grey-shaded or black character. Her character holds ZERO significance to the show altogether. I say take her out and we ,as viewers, are better off.
Screenplay - Honestly, which episode actually develops the story? NONE! Post-leap, ever since Meera's departure and Abhir's entry/departure, none of the episodes actually move the story forward. What was with the Raj Bhasin track? He sooo did NOT get his revenge. What'd he do to Tulsi to make her life worse? NOTHING. Zilch. ZERO. He spoiled his own "son's" life and Bhumi's, certainly not Tulsi's. So if that's called revenge, then so be it. Then the Ansh-truth track. GAWD!! Can we get a new script writer, please? Reinstate Rekha Modi, Ekta, and TRPs will sky rocket!👍🏼
Getting to the bashing ground. well, not really.
Acting:
Akashdeep (Eklavya) - I highly doubt Akashdeep will be able to recreate the magic with such an amateurish cast. Plus, as Ansh, his characterization was MUCH MUCH stronger but now, his character is one of the weakest characters in the show, who blindly believes the words of a certain someone who uncannily reminds me of Hitler.
Pulkit (Lakshya) - As much as I like him, I doubt he can make the same magic, the same screen presence as Hiten. I do believe Hiten's over-rated sometimes but as Karan, whenever he's been praised, it is equitable!👏 Pulkit's performance too leaves much to be desired. At times, it's too immature and childish. Hiten, or Karan, on the other hand, was a rebellious, level-headed boy who was so determined that if he promised to beat you, he would. Half of the time, Lakshya seems undetermined of his future. If the script writers do put him in Karan's place, it'll be like a two year old is trying to play a 20 year old. When Karan romanced Nandini, it was funny & cute. Nothing like that between him & KT.
Mouni (KT) - To call her an actress is an insult to the great actresses we've had in the past & even now. It's an insult to Smriti Irani, Narayani Shastri, Shilpa Saklani, Rakshanda Khan, Riva Bubber, Sakshi Tanwar, Shweta Tiwari & even newcomers like Pallavi Subhash & Reshmi Ghosh. Her constantly placing hand on her hips when she sees something "wrong" is 🤢🤢🤢. Darling, there are better ways to show the "disgust" expression than simply placing hand on hips. Her facial expressions leave a LOT to be desired. To call her hopeless attempts "acting" is downright revolting & nauseating. All in all, she is no match for Gauri Tejwani. Her character is so shoddily written that if she was (god forbid) to be raped then all she'd do is TRY to cry. Gauri portrayed the emotions of being raped with such perfection that it gave you a realization of her pain. Mouni's portrayal of the major problems (ei. Being arrested, falsely accused etc.) she faces, far from making you realize her pain, makes you howl with laughter. When Lakshya romances her, she looks like a dearest amma jaan. It looks as if a 16 year old is trying to hit on a 32 year old. No, literally it does!
Saniya (Dunno her real name) - Her acting too leaves much to be desired. She cannot act as well. But she gets the benefit of doubt. As viewers, we haven't seen much of Saniya to critic her performance as an actress. But from what is shown, one can certainly say she is no replacement for Rakshanda.
So all in all, this track will suck and Kyunki will have to shut shop if they go ahead with "repetition of history".
IMHO, Ekta isn't making great use of Reshmi's acting abilities. Reshmi's proved she can act better than our so-called "protagonist". She leaves a mark in the confrontation scenes she shares with Smriti. Her skills should be put to better use than simply abusing Joydeep. If only the track was changed and Reshmi was enacting the main part, can one hope to see some memoriable scenes with great acting & facial expressions.
Absolutely !! Very well put ! 👏
I second your comments...especially about Mouni and also Reshmi.
Reshmi has a great potential and i hope they make use of her talent properly instead of just focussing on the so-called 'Wannabe Tulsi'.
Reshmi's acting and facial expressions are priceless...kudos to her ! The other newcomers in the show should learn from her.
