UPDATE FOR 2ND NOVEMBER
The doctor says that the child is suffering from multiple sclerosis and the disease is incurable. All of them are shocked. Gautam asks to do something but the doctor tells him that there is nothing much they can do. She says that it is not a fatal disease; the nerves stop working and some function may stop and the patient may become handicapped. She says that they will show a neuro-specialist but at the moment there is nothing that they can do. Damini is crying (some dialogues about how the kid has not even started his life, hasna bolna bhi nahin seekha, she has not even taught him how to walk holding her hand and so on…). Gautam says that he had seen so many dreams for his child and now…
In, shantiniketan, everybody is in the hall and waiting anxiously. Gautam comes and is in a shaken state. Tulsi goes up to him and asks him as to how the child is and why did he not tell them before they went to the hospital. Gautam is almost in tears, mihir also asks him but he just sits down at the sofa like a lost man. Damini comes in with the kid, along with ganga and sahil. Sahil tells everybody about what the doctor has said. Everybody is sad (ba, savita, gayatri, …….), tulsi takes the child from damini's hand. She is also very sad.
Abhishek is thinking about shobha, the times he has spent with her (the time when he had danced with her, when on vishal funeral she told him that vishal became alone). He thinks that payal has given him the responsibility of shobha but he is one who is responsible for shobha's sorrows.
Payal is in S'land with tushar and he asks her if she got any clue about the killer. She says she knows who the culprit is and it is karan.
Ganga and saahil are with their child and she is putting him to sleep. They are both sad for damini and gautam. On the other hand, damini and gautam's child is crying. Gautam feels helpless and walks out and goes over to saahil's room. Ganga goes up to gautam and says that she wanted to tell him something for some time now but today she will. She says thank you gautam, meri goad bharne ke liye. She bends to touch gautam's feet, but gautam moves away. He goes over to the child, picks him up and walks out. Saahil and ganga are staring at him, saahil tries to stop gautam but ganga stops him.
Gautam comes down the stairs in the hall where everybody is sitting. Saahil follows him. Everybody is surprised by gautam's behaviour and they tell him to give the child back to ganga as it is hers now. Gautam says that the child is his and he is not sharing it with anyone. As a mother damini gave the child and as a father he is taking it back. Tulsi tells him that he should be grateful of ganga (ganga and damini are also there) Gautam says that he is thankful to ganga for the time when she saved damini and he is going to repay that, but not by giving his child. Tulsi tells her that he understands his pain, gautam tells her to share his pain and not tell him to share his child. He says that no one can force him to give his child and if someone did, he will leave the house even if damini did not come with him. Tulsi says that these were the very stairs where ganga had lost her child the first time and again on those stairs she is losing her child.
Payal, along with tushar meets the police officer in S'land. He tells her that though they have not been able to get hold of the killer, Frank has sent a cd with info about the person who is behind all this. The cd is played and there is a voice saying something. The police officer says that Frank is saying that he did not know that vishal was a politician'son (we heard him saying diplomat though), and he was given orders to kill him and the person who gave him orders was karan virani (oh, not again, it is such a old idea). Payal asks the PO whether this cd is proof enough to get karan arrested. The PO tells her that provided the voice is authenticated and they find proof to substantiate this. He says that they are going to catch Frank and then everything will be clear. Payal is convinced that karan is behind all this and thinks about karan telling her that rathi is the clue and then calling to say that the address was false. She also thinks of the call, which came to tell her that karan was the killer and she will find evidence against him.
Ansh is talking to aditya gujral that he did not want to kill vishal but he had become dangerous so ansh had to give extra money to frank to kill vishal. Now payal will be after karan and no one will be able to save him from the politician.
Gayatri and karan are with saahil and ganga. Ganga says that the happiness had come for a while only. Gayatri says she knew that gautam will do something like this and that she had warned them earlier. She says that saahil had listened to her and got the adoption papers signed and now they have to get the child back through that and they might have to go to court as well. Ganga says that she does not want to get the child like this, gayatri tells her to be practical and that the doctor had said that ganga's chances of conceiving again is very less. Ganga is still not convinced and says that she understands but she will not make a father go to court for his child. Saahil agrees with ganga, but karan tells them to be practical. Karan tells them that gayatri is right and they should use the adoption papers to get their child. Gautam is passing by and overhears. He comes in the room (gives dirty looks to everyone) and says that he is not going to give his child to anyone and walks out. Gayatri is worried that gautam has heard all this and karan remarks that gautam will definitely do something about it.
Ba, savitri, tulsi are sitting together and savitri is saying that how it is a bad time, first mansukh died, then gautam's child's illness and also vishal's murder. Shobha is passing by and overhears and comes inside and asks savita as to what she was saying about vishal being murdered. Tulsi tries to change the conversation and stop savita from saying further on it, but savita tells shobha that she heard right and that vishal was murdered. Shobha is shocked.
