Is KSBKBT all about repetition?

The idea that some of the people were floating - Tanya will leave the house, and Karan's baby will come back later to take revenge, just like Karan had, got me thinking.

Why is this serial bent on repeating previous incidents all over again?

Some examples:

(1) We saw Gautam and Ganga fighting over Nakul. It got ugly, and eventually one of the couples had to leave the house - just like what happened when Gautam was a child years ago.

(2) Characters like Payal and Mandira (or Priyanka), keep going away and coming back to the show. Even Mihir dies and comes back. Ekta never wants to let go of her characters, and keeps repeating them at different junctions.

(3) From what we hear will happen after the leap - Baa will die, and Tulsi will come back after the leap, and she will be called Baa! Also, a new girl, who will also be named Tulsi, will now come into the house; the new girl will also be a pujari's daughter, just like the original Tulsi was. Isn't that that height of repetition?

(4) We don't know about this yet, but if Tanya does leave the house with her unborn baby, without telling anyone, it will be a repeat of Karan's story, like I said above.

(5) Even the idea of another 20 year leap is following on from the success of the previous 20 year leap; maybe they are hoping to 'repeat' that success.

(6) Not to mention, they are aiming for another 1000 episodes, after the 1000 which just passed. Get ready for a repeat 5 year innings of KSBKBT.

Well, we all know Ekta loves to incorporate similar stories and situations from one serial into another of her serials. But here we have so many repetitions in the same serial itself. So, is KSBKBT based solely on repetition, as opposed to reputation?

yeah there are a lot of repition but indian shows have come along way from back when i was a kid, no they deal with things like adultery they used to barley touch on divorce. but i agree that kyunki is very repetitive, there needs to be more than one central storyline, there needs to be more character development, you can't have some people as all good and some as all bad, or have people do complete change from one to the other, its not realistic.

Gautam is the only one who seems to be well developed and he balances good and bad. he continues to have steaks of grey in is character
