Meera is in her house. Her sister gets both of them a drink. The sister speaks of an ad in a reputed firm about wanting a lawyer. Meera says the formality of resignation is not complete. The door bell rings, the sister opens the door expecting the watchman. Its Mihir at the door. After the formalities, Mihir starts discussing the Singhania case and stammers. Meera asks him to speak about the real problem. Mihir says that Thulsi has hung two of her kids. Meera says that she was present during the case and Gautam walked on the wrong path. Mihir says as a mother she should have stopped him, but is becoming adamant by the day. Meera tries to console him and he goes away saying it is quite late in the day.
Mihir walks back home thinking that he loves Thulsi desperately. But why is she so different from the person he knows. As he reaches home he has a short discussion with Savitha. Even if Ansh was wrong, why oppose Harsh's marriage and now insult Gautam and throw him out of the house. Savitha says she fails to understand too.
Tanya, Karan and Bhoomi are in the hospital visiting Nandini. Bhoomi announces to a sister that today is her birthday. As they reach Nandini's room, Tanya announces that today is her Bhoomi's birthday. So she has to bless her. So saying she places nandini's hand on Bhoomi's head. Bhoomi says she is in a hurry to cut the cake. After the celebration, Tanya announces that relationships of the heart are very strange. She cannot imagine a life without bhoomi. Karan says it is true. He also never had imagined that somebody can replace nandini in her heart and smiles at Tanya. She blushes.
Meera comes to Shanthiniketan. Mohini says Mihir is not at home. If only Meera had come in a little earlier, she could have accompanied Mihir papa on the way to office. Meera says that she has come to meet Thulsi. Mohini suggest that Meera watch the serial "Kyunki sautan bhi kabhi saheli thi". Its very similar to her life. By then Thulsi comes down and they have a conversation. Meera says Mihir met her last night to share his owes. He is highly disturbed. Thulsi says Mihir is at least fortunate in having a friend like her. Once upon a time, Mihir and Thulsi were the best of friends. They could share everything with each other. Now it seems that the friendship no longer exists. Meera asks her to try and break the barrier. Thulsi thanks her for her care and concern.
At night, Thulsi is restless and Mihir is asleep amidst his work. She puts aside his files and is about throw a blanket on him, when he wakes up and takes it from her. Without a second glance he tries to sleep.
Gautam gets a call and he rushes outside the house. At some distance Damini sees that he is being threatened.
Mohini makes some sweets and gives them to Savitha to taste. As she wants Savitha to eat more of it; Savitha says that because it is chilled she can't and asks Mohini to eat it instead. Mohini realises that it if full of salt.
Bhoomi is trying to read and Tanya is a little stern. Karan intervenes and helps Bhoomi escape. There is good bonding between Bhoomi and Karan.
Ganga is with her new born kid. As it cries she goes out of the room to get fresh nappies for it. Nakul and Bhoomi use rattles to quieten the child. Ganga is pleased.
The next morning Tanya wakes up in her room. The room is decorated with red and white balloons and rose petals are showered on her. Karan gives her a beautiful necklace and ring. (Its there second wedding anniversary). He demands his gift. She promises to give him something in the evening. He says he wants something much better than what he has gifted, and she says she will get it the evening.
They seek Baa and Thulsi's blessings. Ganga announces that she is making arrangements for a party in the evening. Thulsi seems a little apologetic saying that in Gautam's absence, it would seem rude. Baa says that they should have a party to celebrate good things.
