What Apara Has to Say About the Twist?

I just found this article from Times of India...thought I should share it w/ you. Tell me what you think about it.

I heard about it just this morning while I was going for my shoot. The whole make-up room is abuzz and in a state of shock. To be honest, I still haven't been formally told about this twist.

How do you think the audience will react to an issue like mercy killing?

I don't know whether this mercy killing issue should be taken up at all or not. But then it's totally Ekta's call. The serial is all about my relationship with Tulsi and I really don't know how the audience will take to such a change. Did you expect to be part of the show when the generation leap takes place?

Savita is a grey character. When I came to know about the generation leap that is due to happen, I could not picture myself looking any older. A character like Savita becoming Baa is kind of hard to imagine.

But then if they have to kill my character to make the story go forward, then so be it. I guess Tulsi will become Baa and Nandini the bahu, in the serial.

So would you take up other shows or concentrate on theatre only?

I've always been very active in theatre. I somehow manage to find time between shoots to concentrate on my plays. As far as taking up new shows are concerned, only time will tell. At the moment I'm busy with this new Gujarati play which is a love story between two mature individuals.

Well, Apara hasn't been formally told about the mercy-killing twist yet.

So do you all think it will still happen? I think - yes!

Although, I don't want her to go since she is Tulsi's greatest rival, nevertheless I don't think she is needed after the leap as it is going to be all about tulsi and her daughter-in-laws, with all the children matured. But I do hope, Daksha comes back. 😉

Also, how do you think this twist will be carried out? Is it going to be something like Savita becoming seriously ill and Tulsi pulling the plug in a hospital per request of Savita? In whatever way it is, it is going to be very melodramatic! 😭

thnx 4 da article.apara nay khud kaha toh yakeen hua otherwise i woz beginnig 2 fink dis is some more publicity 4 da drama.savita kay baad tulsi's life is still gonna be hell cause she n mihir will split 😭 .both tulsi & mihir r old but never got tired of seeing dem together.

i no people fink this is weird but mercy killing is a gd topic to focas on cos it has so many sides 2 it

I really don't want her to die 😭 😭 She does a gr8 job in bothering Tulsi. Who will be there to do this Khitkhit on Tulsi god knows.

Don't matter how bad she is, but i really like the way she acts to Tulsi - like a real saas.

One thing i have admired about her that she is a very competent lady. She is always well dressed in the soap as a really high status Virani Bahu. Very sofisticated.

I don't like her when she leaves her hair open when she is not on the shoot. They don't really suit her may be she should consider about changing her hairstyle is she likes to leave them open.
