Karan is restless in his cell. Tanya comes to meet him. He hopes that at least she understands that he is innocent. Tanya says he does not have to say it. She is aware that he is innocent, not because she is in love with him. Her love is not blind. She is aware of the habits and capabilities of Karan too. She says that she and Nandini will get him out soon. Karan says he fails to understand one thing, who actually killed Gujral and what proof has Mansingh got against him. A constable asks Tanya to go out as her meeting time is over. Tanya says she is going, but will be back soon. Tanya is in tears as she goes out she says that she should save Karan under any circumstances. They both also have a brief flash back of their wedding and mutual trust between them.
It is shown that Karan is being hit black and blue. Mansingh slaps him and pulls his hair. He tries to get a confession, but Karan says he has not killed Gujral. But its Nandini nightmares and she wakes up screaming and Tulsi tries to console her, saying that Thakurji knows the truth. Nandini asks what if in reality Karan has killed Gujral? Tulsi looks at her with surprise. She explains that she kindled him and he was disturbed. Tulsi asks Nandini to shut up and says that may be Nandini is disturbed and has lost confidence in Karan, but she knows her son the best. He can't ever kill anybody.
Meera and Tulsi are at the police station. Meera introduces herself and says she has come to complete the formalities to get the bail. Mansingh says that he had asked for non-bailable warrant, because he is aware that Viranis have a history of murderers. Meera is enraged and says that Karan does not have any history of criminal activities and Mansingh can't have any proof against Karan, so how can he get non-bailable warrant sanctioned? Mansingh coolly orders for tea and says that at the police station they make very tasty tea and Tulsi is aware of that. Meera starts to say something. Mansingh interrupts her and says that he has heard that Meera is a very capable lawyer and she can display her skills in court, but can't save karan. Tulsi asks to meet Karan and he permits. Looking at Karan in the cell Tulsi starts crying. Karan says that once upon a time, Tulsi was on the other side (meaning behind bars) and she said that she did not commit any crime by finishing of Ansh. And that was Tulsi's greatest strength. Today he has not committed any crime and that is his strength. Tulsi asks karan to trust her and says she will make sure that he is not behind bars for long.
At home, Nakul, mayank and Bhoomi pray for karan's safety. The family is overcome by their gestures. Bhoomi wants to accompany the family to the court. But Shobha tries to distract her and says that they will wait at home to welcome papa. Bhoomi asks Nandini to get Karan back home soon.
Mansingh is taking to a bald man. He asks him to tell proper things in court. If it does not happen as Mansingh desires, then it would mean hell for him.
Meera and Tulsi are waiting at the court and Tulsi is worried and wonders what's going to happen. Meera assures her that the case is not as bad as Mansingh would like them to believe. They just have to prove that karan was not on the terrace when Gujral was shot.
Karan is travelling in the police jeep and remembers his out bursts at the party and his threats to Gujral.
Tanya arrives at court and Tulsi is happy to see her. Nandini joins them and each of them tries to infuse the other with courage.
Karan arrives at the court and mansingh meets him first. He sees meera standing in his path and asks if she has made enough preparations, then adds that they would all go in vain as Karan would be hung. Tulsi asks him why he is so much against karan. Mansigh says that Karan is not on the side of justice and people who are not on the side of justice are all his enemies. As he moves forward, everybody stares at him (Gautam, Damini, Sahil, Sejal are all present) He climbs a few steps turns back and welcomes them on the path to "Saza-e-mauth". Mihir says that Mansingh is trying to frame karan and he wont let that happen.
Tomorrow: Baa asks bhoomi to close her eyes and pray to god. Bhoomi does so and adds that she would not eat until her papa comes back home. Shobha hugs the child and cries.
