Devanshi very well written...i agree that no serial can ever be like Kyunki...i can bet that after some days both Bidayee and Balika Badhu will go off air.....but no serial will be able to thrill audiences for EIGHT WHOLE YEARS....kyunki made a history on indian television, and it will remain a history NO MATTER WHAT...

@Sunaira: I liked ur post....but the last line: whom was it referred to? Since u havent quoted anyone i can assume it was referred to Lata, who first talked about the actor's power going down??
If so, i wud like to say that Lata didn't blame any particular actor/actress as accused, she almost blamed the WHOLE CAST OF KYUNKI (except for a few) for whats happening....

I agree with Lata that along with the creatives, the actors aren't giving their best.

Like i am a huge Smriti fan, but won't deny that Tulsi's power had lost somewhere...when i watch the video of previous years, I get shocked to see that Smriti used to act way off better than. (No offence to Smrioti fan, remember i am a smriti fan too.)

Same goes with many other actors...watching old videos of Kyunki, i personally think that many actors had lost their interest in the show and arent giving their best...

Its natural. When u act in a show FOR EIGHT WHOLE YEARS, and that too for about 12 to 14 hours per day, u will definitely get bored of it...that is exactly what happened.

Answer to the red coloured bold line: Lata is a member of a free discussion forum, I-F, where everyone is entitled to their own views/opinions (unless it crosses the line of I-F COC). And as far as I can see, there is no restriction in I-F COC that states critisicm against actors is not allowed.

Cutting off the unecessary debates and longlectures Lolzzzz,,,,, kYUNKI DEFINATELY has done well and isstill doing well despite all odds and allthe loved characters are the reason for the show 2 do well.

kyunki has been no.1 for 8 years but now its need strong script to survive// ekta told kyunki will end eventually // may be kyunki will run for 6 more month//

My topic is not about popularity of actors, be it Smriti or GHT or Ganga or anyone else

My topic is also not about "What has Kyunki achieved in PAST 8 years"

The topic is NOT about Bidai or any other serial and how long it will be number 1 .....

This Topic is about "Kyunki , the Number 1 , undisputed show of Indian TV" - This tag , this undisputed position which has been challenged by many new shows on the block......For past 8 years, come what may, this remained the "Baap" of all shows, now a days even a new show on colours is beating us up ....

@ people who are so proud of our Awards list, let us not brag about it coz this year may prove to be a shock for all of us.......

Kindly discuss the SHOW, not ACTORS.....

Kindly discuss the PRESENT scenario, not the PAST glory......

Lastly, discuss the importance of this show and its cast on Star plus . Is Star Plus ignoring Kyunki and has Bidai cast replaced this show's characters in all popular Star Plus events?

Star voice of India also invited Bidai cast recently......😕

My two cents!

Job well done Ritu to bring back the focus on the REAL point. As always the HGT fans NO OTHER fans have created this a war zone. What Lata said is a very constructive criticism aleast that is how I intrepret it. Hiten being who he is is with a very high potential is not given enough to carry out as he can do!

Gauri does seems very bored and is not able to do the justice to the role in comaprision to her earlier years as Nandini, she was ausome! rest dont need to be brought here because NO OTHER fans have contested Lata.

GHT fans this is as a constructive criticism towards you and I dont have any thing personal against you.

Now to come back to your topic Ritu I can see why kyunki is loosing the popularity. Mainly people are bored of the oldies romance and they are not interested in lame secrets. Especially the audience waited for 4-6 weeks and got real sub standard twist. On the otehr hand, Bidai encompaaases a true romance between two young people. And the story line always has much more to offer everyday rather tahn moving only an inch every week unlike Kyunki.

Hopefully, producers will come up with more shows as Bidai with a new idea put forth so all of can just sit back and enjoy the show with popcorn instead of being so bored. I have stopped watching Kyunki lately as I was watching it only for hIten and I feel he is not able to do the justice.

I am really sorry for what I'm about 2 say now and please I am not here to fight or to say this is the best or that is best....but just to ask one thing and that's' that does winning best jodi award every years or anyother award every year make one or a show the best??cause I don't think so.....sorry guys my POV

Angel winning jodi is NOT a real wnning jodi as it is as a result of faulty fan voting.

And you are right! The winning jodi or any other SCRIPTED award does not make one show the best or the worst.

as u r talking abut present track den these days mostly ganga n shiv r shown// mostly ganga shiv scene is there//regarding karanandini dey r shown nt much as compared to gangashiv// in last 2 month nandini has shown crying n karan consoling her// there is nthg more den dat// gangashiv track has also nt very intersting//

kyunki desperatly need strong script// its creative team who r responsible see how badly dey spoiled sis track-nandini's being secretive //

see whether its film or serial if script is nt gud no actor can save dat film or serial//

even sharukh ,amitabh films fail becoz of weak script//
