Part 2

Recap-Eklavya was busy in his sorrow until his best friend Ranbir Nanda came to show him the ways of life. Placing everything into its place the big bang was to take place the next day.

Eklavya for the first time sleeps well considering his endless nights of nightmares. He still had them but it wasn't as bad. He tried to convince Ranbir to stay over in Shantiniketan but didn't want to impose on anyone so ended up staying in some nearby Hotel that he owned. Eklavya tried hard to avoid KT but it was hard as she kept on going out of her way to speak to him. Apologizing for the past and her mistakes. The damage was done so there was no turning back. Why did he have to still have feelings for this woman? It was a mix of hate and love both rolled into one. He tried so hard to shake it but to no effect. He was doomed. Eklavya felt guilty at the same too with their sly act they were to do. Tricking was against Eklavya's morals but he didn't want KT and Laksh to ever be together. Not in this life or any other. If he couldn't get his love then both will have to suffer just like he is to make them see what its like to lose love. He'd already sacrificed his loved twice before but not anymore.

KT looked at Eklavya he looked much better than yesterday. Looks like his friend Ranbir had cheered him up but he was still troubled that she could tell. She prayed his pain would heal with time. No matter what happened in the past he was still her friend one that she hurt very badly. She just wished he'd find peace with himself and with the rest of the world. She'd observed how distant he was with his family. He even stayed clear from his own sister Bhumi as he didn't know what to feel inside. KT tried not thinking about Eklavya and just think today was her wedding to Laksh the best day of her life thats who she was to have in her mind.

KT-Eklavya U look good today. R U ok with all this?

E-Tumhe kya? Whats it to U if i live or die? Just leave me alone.

KT-I didn't mean it like that its just i know U have feelings for me. This must be painful for U.

E-Tum kush ho?

KT-Yes! [looking worried]

E-Then thats all that counts. Now if U don't mind i have important business to attend.

KT-Eklavya todays my wedding. U have to be here.

E-What am i the groom? No so my presence is of no importance to U at your big day. Why ruin it with my misfortunes it will only bring U down.

KT-Have U forgotten whats happened to me. This is all in the past. U have to stay. I know we haven't seen eye to eye but U R my best friend at least stay.

E-Maybe later to take part in the wedding. [grins and leaves]

KT looked puzzled at what Eklavya meant by all this. She didn't have time to dwell on all this she had to get ready. Bhoomi was there she just wished they were friends but no such luck. Its a good job her friend Kanya was arriving today they lived in Mumbai but became good friends when KT went to eat at this grand restaurant for a date with Laksh and Kanya was the waitress there she also worked at a Hotel part-time to make ends meet. Over the years they'd made a strong friendship. Kanya was overprotective of her ever since that nightmare occurred. KT went to do Pooja at the Mandir and prayed to Krishna that may her love and this day go to plan and be blessed with the love of the man with a pure heart is hers. Laksh meant everything. KT ran back upstairs where Laksh was about to come out. KT knew it was Laksh just by his footsteps.

KT-Laksh stay where U R?

L-Why?

KT-Its bad luck otherwise don't U get it?

L-U R my luck KT and nothings going to stop me looking at U today.

KT-Thats fine but see me at the wedding not now.

L-KT all the bad luck has past us now what can go wrong?

KT-Don't tempt fate!

L-I'm not. Atleast say U love me.

KT-Laksh i don't know why but i have a bad feeling. Eklavya was nice today. Everything is going right but i have this fear that something bad will happen.

Laksh comes out of hiding and hold KT in a warm embrace. KT hugs him back.

KT-U shouldn't have come out Laksh now something will definitely go wrong.

L-If U keep having negative thoughts then its inviting bad vibes. KT do U have faith in me?

KT-More than my own life.

L-Thats all i need and u will see this time tonight U and I will be one. Now go up and get ready. I will be back in a bit. I have a surprise for U.

I better hurry up Eklavya must be coming on his way soon. Ranbir gets out of the elevator dressed in his typical day wear jeans and a tight fitted T-shirt he hurries past the corridor and enters the hotel dining area just for a quick coffee normally he woke up early but Mumbai had the ladies and he got a little overfriendly with one of them that night. Shame he couldn't remember who she was. Ranbir turned abruptly bumping into Kanya who had glasses full of alcoholic drinks all over Ranbir. He went red with anger. He didn't have time to change. He smelt like a bar. His T-shirt soaking wet. Kanya looked at the guy with a fear for losing her job. This job paid more than her restaurant work. She couldn't afford to get fired.

K-I'm so sorry sir! Sorry![She gets her cloth and tries to clean him up]

R-I think this will be enough Miss Clutz. Who employed this girl? Don't U have a steady hand or has old age got to U. only the best work here.

K-Sir please sir i'm really sorry I didn't do this on purpose. [still cleaning Ranbir up]

R-Fine woman all the same never do a job correctly. Can U stop feeling me up? I know i'm too hot to handle doesn't mean U have the right to touch me. Who knows where you've been. Now i have to take a bath 7 times. U R fired Miss.

K-Sir please it was an easy mistake. Won't happen again. Please don't complain to the manager.

R-Too right it won't happen again. If U aren't working here then there's no more accidents to happen. Good day to bad rubbish. Have U even been educated in this field of work?

K-U can't fire me its up to the boss. U stuck up wannabe rich boy. Who do U think U R? Just because Daddy's been paying for your extra curricular activities doesn't mean U can trample on people. I've seen the likes of U all the same. Kicking a person when they R down. Go complain to the manager he will take my side. U turned out of nowhere not me. Mistake was yours not mine.

R-Mr Dilip what kind of a place R U running here? I want good mannered educated people in a classy Hotel like this not homeless people with an attitude. Is this a Hotel or a circus. This imbecile just had the nerve to take on Me. The scandals if people were to see this in my own Hotel. I want her out now.

Mr D-Sorry Kanya U will have to take your leave. Do U know who U R up against?

K-Sir i've been a good worker on time he just......

Mr D-Ranbir Nanda the owner of this place and all the other chains out there along with malls and franchises linked with foreign countries.

K-Mr Nanda i'm sorry i didn't know if i did...

R-Yeah yeah U wouldn't have dared. Too bad U R a feisty little something. If U were prettier than U would have been forgiven but U crossed my limits. Ranbir doesn't take kindly to insults and your luck just ran out goodbye. Mr Dilip if U ever employ trash like that then U will be fired too got that clear. Our business has an image got it. [Dilip nods in fear]

K-Well U can stick your job. U must have made your millions through slave labour. If i ever see U again i will slap U across your face just for talking to me and Mr Dilip like that. U have no etiquette or morals. How to speak to people. Goodbye Mr Nanda and hope U have a hell of a day.

Kanya storms out of the place bumping into Eklavya. She is on the verge of tears holding them back from Ranbir. She looks at Eklavya and gives a faint smile.

E-Kanya R U ok?

K-What does it look like Eklavya that monster just fired me for spilling drinks on him.

E-Who?

K-Ranbir Nanda! I hate that name, his voice and his ugly face.

E-Kanya let me talk some sense into him. He's hot headed just give him some time. Now wipe your eyes he's not worth getting upset over. He's brash but inside he's a nice guy.

K-Eklavya U going to the wedding?

E-KT won't have it anyother way. Things will be ok with work i will make sure Hate guru Ranbir gives your job back. U will get there now right she's waiting for U.

K-Don't have this job so will be early. I don't know if i ever want to work for an ogre like him. See U later Eklavya. Please don't tell him about me being upset.

E-I won't!

Eklavya goes inside the Nanda Hotel and see's a livid Ranbir going berserk constantly cursing. Poor Kanya what must he have said in the heat of the moment. Ranbir looks at his friend and cooled down a little.

R-This is what U get for employing these low class people. If i'd have known she would have been fired a long time ago.

E-U R too mean Ranbir U made her so mad she will be out for murder. U shouldn't have been so mean. She's a person too and a friend of KT's.

R-Well this spices up things.

E-What's going on in that brain of yours?

R-U will see my friend i have a score to settle with her and she has to pay.

E-No way R U doing anything to her its not on.

R-Where's my bad boy? Stop being so good all the time. Follow my suit ok U don't have to be full evil just enough that u have a thick skin. Laksh sure won't know whats hit him. Vaidehi is coming into play. She's on deck bro and let the games begin. I already told Laksh to get KT something special and will make sure he never ends up at the wedding. Vaidehi still thinks that i'll be hers i'm nobody's.

E-U won't hurt him Ranbir? This sounds too wrong.

R-He will get hurt but not physically. Just enjoy the ride. Get rid of your conscience leave everything to me. After i get changed that is.
