In Memory Of Naina Basin

I know. You're probably wondering why I started this topic. The reason is quite simple; I personally feel that Naina Basin has been forgotten a little on the show, and because I believe that she was one of the most important characters and also a wonderfully talented actress, I wanted to start this topic for all those, who liked her too, or who loved to hate her, in order to remember her.

I used to hate her when i saw the amount of hatred she was piling on Kakoon... but she died with the desire of uniting her sister with her love.... I hope that doesnot go as a waste... I wish she comes back to put things in place... If she comes back things will be alright... Dont u think so?

Wauw, if she comes back then she will definitely unite Rahul and Kakun. She would make things alright. But she's dead, and I don't think that the creatives are going to un-dead her. Not with Naina Oberoi on the show. That would be too many Nainas. Heh.

i really like kritika but i always wanted ekta to give her a better role (not in terms of positive-negative) but in terms of substance and meat after kzk. though even in kzk she started becoming less important during the final phase. i think she has very good chemistry with all her male co-actors, from naman to saksham to aamir. and i loved her in scenes where she had to act jealous. i always had problems sympathizing with the character of naina bhasin coz right from the initial phase she was shown as a heartlless brat if the writers gave some variations it would have been interesting. there was not too much complexities attached to the character. i think is coz the writers never concentrated giving too much of shades to the character. it had potential but she was killed off before it could touch a new zone. sadly the character developed a new dimension only few minutes before its death. i wish kritika good luck for her future projects and i hope ekta gives her some interesting roles in future. am sure she will coz she did a wonderful job in LKJBT and she was the longest surviving female celeb in the show. she is a very good performer and i really adored her a lot in kzk

You're right. I so would have liked to see her changes, but instead they killed her off. What's LKJBT, soulfry?

^ sweety its lux kaun jeetega bollywood ka ticket' it was a reality show with one celebrity paired with a non-celeb. the winning pair (naman-bindu) will be acting in a balaji telefilms-popkorn ent produced film. it is multi starrrer film with other bollywood actors.

Oh, thanks for the information, soulfry. I clicked by You Tube and found some clips from it with her. She's very sweet. But the movie which Naman and Bindu are going to star in - is it even with decent story and such? Or just a commercial movie?

I am definitely missing her on the show. No doubt. And it's definitely not the same without her. To be honest, I loved to hate her. She was brilliant and stunning - and in the end, RaKun's only hope, which was so kindly non-violently eliminated by our favorite Aman.
