Kundali Bhagya is a story of two sisters Preeta n Srishti whose father before passing away tells them about the existence of their mother n sister. Thus they come to Mumbai in search of them. Amidst this journey their paths intersect with the Luthra brothers Rishabh, Karan and Sameer. Preeta gets appointed by Rishabh as the physiotherapist for his grandmother in the Luthra house. Srishti starts working as the interior decorative designer in the Luthra functions. Karan is a star cricketer n Rishabh manages his career. While Rishabh n Preeta starts off on a very good note,
Karan n Preeta develops an intense dislike for each other. On the other hand, Srishti who is a great fan of Karan instantly bonds with him. Soon Rishabh starts falling in love with Preeta and on the other hand, Karan and Preeta gives way to an unlikely friendship n starts understanding each other better spending a lot of time together. Sameer, who is a cousin of Rishabh and Karan, though didn't start very well with Srishti initially but soon develops a special bond with her n the duo falls in love with each other. Though they are almost aware of their feelings for each other, none of the two are ready to confess.
As the story progresses, we see Karan too falls in love with Preeta as he finds her very different from the other girls who roam around him n his money n Preeta also develops a kind of attraction n likeness towards him. Rishabh, who isn't aware of Karan Preeta's growing feelings for each other, by the time falls in love with her completely but unfortunately he agrees for a marriage with Sherlin, a business women on insisting by Preeta itself.
