Rishabh may end up turning grey or he may go on to marry Shrishti with some sorta misunderstanding. Or like you said he could be asked to leave which i don't see happening..at least not in the near future. Later on when the story progresses with different storylines coming up if Karan Preeta end up marrying, yes that may happen. But i don't think Sameer will be given more priority than Rishabh and that's why Rishabh-Shrishti alliance is a probability. Also as long as Sherlyn is there, Rishabh is there too and Sherlyn is not leaving anytime soon. Once she does leave, which way would his story go..that is a big question for which i see the above mentioned possibilities. As far as a Preeta-Rishabh alliance is concerned, i really don't see that happening with Karan in the picture. We all know who's given more priority and importance of the two. Also Rishabh is a very weak character to become the main protagonist. He can be easily manipulated and i won't be surprised if he ends up joining hands with Kareena Bua sometime later for his insecurities. Even if he marries Preeta, that would just be a leverage for Karan-Preeta to realise their feelings cause i am almost sure they are endgame.
