Disappointed

So i'd like to express my dissapointment regarding some stuffs i have come across in recent days. Ever since Karan and Preeta have been shown together more or have been occupying more screen space to develop their storyline, many Rishabh-Preeta shippers are lashing out on Karan accusing him of not deserving this much attention or to say specifically..not deserving attention from Preeta. That really saddens me, cause if anything, he is such a sweetheart and good hearted soul. He has never done anything evil to hurt anybody. Yeah, he may not be an "at your face" good guy like Rishabh but that doesn't make him any less better. Someone said that it's not fair that everything Rishabh does or loves, goes to Karan in the end and that he is just a spoilt brat who likes to play with girls. That is such a big overstatement! Especially after yesterday's episode, how can people say that! He saved his brother's engagement party from getting hijacked and Preeta's family from getting humiliated. Infact i think he'll be the one making a sacrifice for his brother when he comes to know of his feelings for Preeta and back off. All i wanted to say is that don't antagonize him just because he's more on the mischievous side. I am a PreeRan shipper, but i don't hate Rishabh. Infact i really like his character..so down to earth and sweet. One thing i have noticed is Preeran shippers don't hate on Rishabh, but i can't say the same for Rishabh-Preeta shippers. As for me,i live every character in that show. Even the villainous ones. They act quite well. Everyone is unique in their own way. And yes, i ship PreeRan but no, i don't hate Rishabh. I hope he gets the best.

Same here...i am also a PreeRan shipper but i really like Rishab i dont want that he will get married to that evil girl..he is such a good person..nd Karan is just a straight forward Person..he is not a play boy or anything...he is a good hearted person cant see anyone in pain he hates Preeta but without a second thought he save her from goons..

He's really an underrated character. He deserves a magnitude of love same like Rishabh, if not more. But nowhere does he deserve hate. Sometimes people can lash out over the pettiest of things. To say Preeta looks good with Rishabh is a different thing, but to go on saying that Karan doesn't deserve her is way another and so not true!

Hey Rhea! I am a RishTa lover and love Rishabh too. I can't talk about others perspective but sorry if u felt Karan's character is being bashed. Well from my POV Karan is definitely a good guy who loves his family. He is not a play boy but he is a flirt. See as I am writing this I don't find many things to say about him. His character lacks depth as of now. He is either shown flirting with girls, or teasing his family members or irritating Preeta. His individual character has not yet been developed properly. I find nothing new in his character because I have seen such characters in umpteen number of shows.
That doesn't mean I am saying he is not a good guy. He is! Thankfully he is not those typical male lead who manhandles the female lead at every opportunity possible. That is something I really like about him. He knows how to behave himself. It's just that his character doesn't intrigue me as of now. Something doesn't make me root for him. Maybe in future if CV's give him a solid character development I would start to find him interesting. Well this is just my POV. No intention of bashing any character or offending you.

No offense taken. None at all. I welcome your view and respect it. It's good to know what both the sides think . Also here i might add the important thing that i am not generalising. As on your opinion of Karan, i beg to differ. He is someone really passionate about what he does, be it anything.. starting from his career or trying to prove a point (remember the cricket match). Also he is very outgoing and grounded at the same time. He knows his limits well and also he accepts his flaws (like the scene where he prevented preeta from telling people about him saving her from the goons and when preeta retorted that if she does that, he'll be a hero in everyone's eyes, he mocked himself saying a hero doesn't faint and get carried home by a girl). Also he's very fond of his family and treats everyone equally without any favoritism, the warmth can be seen in his eyes. Rishabh on that matter is a little hostile. He doesn't open up much to rest of his family members. And like you said, it's not the first time that we have come across someone like him. Let me add that it isn't the last time also, cause it's usually taken as a success driving factor. Also Karan is unabashedly honest and that is what i like the MOST about him. I have never come across such blatantly honest characters in indian soaps. He literally speaks his mind!! Not an ounce of adulteration. A complete ambivert. He completely blurts out what he thinks. Like even the episode where he was waiting for preeta to fall on his arms, he told her about that straightaway. And about Rishabh, yes, undoubtedly he's a total sweetheart. But ever since the start he has been only about business and preeta. Now even the business part is being overshadowed by his love for preeta. Yes, he is completely smitten i get it. But he could have handled the situation better. Also, nowadays all his scenes comprises of him staring at preeta always. His character needs more exposure. It's like without Preeta, he won't have anything to offer now. That's my POV. And again, no offense intended at all. I like you

Totally agree with you. Bashing Karan will do no good. He has been an amazing brother to Rishab and tried his best to save his brother's engagement. Also bashing Dheeraj Dhooper is totally illogical. He is just an actor who is doing a brilliant job. I have seen a thread where people address PreeRan as 'the other couple'. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Being a PreeRan fan i have never and will never disrespect RishTa. I hope more and more people understand this.

Yes, i completely agree with you. They are a treat to watch! Especially after yesterday's episode, how can people not love them. They are so cute together. It's an ekta kapoor show at the end of the day, you can't expect a rational and logical story for too long though it started off quite well and the story is moving forward at a good pace. Her shows are a hit because of her long list of iconic couples. She just gets the best of matches onscreen and half the job is done already. So ofcourse kundali bhagya will be no different. So taking that point into consideration, may the best couple reign. And for me, it's Karan-Preeta anyday. Yes, Rishabh is very handsome with that height of his and his enviable charm. But Preeta looks better with Karan in my eyes. Maybe if there was no Karan, Rishabh-Preeta would have been good but brooo we have a Karan and we can't ignore his chemistry with Preeta.
