Explaining his character, Pulkit tells us, "It is like a blast from the past kind of thing. I fell in love with KumKum during our college days but she never felt like that and rejected him which hurt him a lot. He could not bear that rejection and was heartbroken. Now he has entered her life again and his only motive is to make her husband Sumeet's life miserable."

Pulkit is a painter by profession but Mukul did not find playing it difficult. "I make sketches in real life too so it was not so difficult for me to portray a painter in the show,' he reveals.

Mukul is making his comeback TV after a long time. In the show his daughter and Daimaa are going to help him get Kumkum back in his life.
