Sumit-Kumkum in the their room.. Sharman enters, goes straight to KK's cupboard and removes Rs.5000 from her purse. Su looks at this and is angry..stops Sharman. Su tells Sharman to keep the money back from where he took it out. KK & Sharman are surprised at Su's behaviour.. Sharman thinks Su is joking. Su is angry and tells him to learn to differentiate between a joke and a serious matter. Su tells him to learn to value money..get a job..and earn his own pocket money. Su grabs the money from Sharman's hand and tells him to go look for a job.. Sharman is upset and leaves...
KK asks Su why was he so stern with Sharman.. Its okay to discipline a child, there are ways to do that, but not to be so stern. Su tells KK that Sharman needs to grow up..learn to be responsible enough..
Dada-Dadi & Dhruv at breakfast table.. Sharman goes and sits on the sofa, sulking. Dadaji calls him and asks him whats the matter..its 8:30 am but 'tumhare chehre pe 12 kyun baje hain?' Sharman tells Dadji that Su shouted at him and did not give him his pocket money. Dadaji & Dhruv say that Su was right. Dadaji tells Sharman, when he was Sharman's age, he had already established his business.. Sharman tells him someday even he will, atleast, come to Dhruv's level. Dadaji tells Sharman he will fix an interview for him..but he's got to reach there on time. Dadi tells Dadaji to give Sharman money.. Dadaji says this whole discussion is about not giving him the money.. Dadi reasons that Sharman needs money to atleast go for the interview..and hence, he needs to give him the money. Dadaji gives Sharman money, with the condition that he will definitely get a job. Sharman agrees, thanks Dadi and leaves.. Dada-Dadi arguing over the matter.. Dhruv smiling..
Vanjara congratulates Antara for successfully getting them the details of the quotations..etc.. Today the tender opened, and Su lost the contract. Antara says she wants to witness Su's loss herself..
At the office, there is an urgent board meeting and board members tell Su that they lost the contract. Su is shocked.. Board members tell him this is the 2nd time in such a short span that they've had to face huge losses.. first, when Su bought the loss-making Riah perfume company and now they lost the contract..hence what explanations do they give to the shareholders. Su says he has only one answer..that he is resigning from the post of Chairman.. Everyone is shocked. Board members tell Su this is not what they meant.. Su tells them he wants to resign, and appoints Dhruv as the new chairman.. Antara is shocked..
BREAK..
Sharman driving.. spots Neeti walking. He is happy and takes this as an opportunity to patao her. Sharman tells Neeti that she may not teach boys dancing, but he definitely lets girls sit in his car..and offers her a lift. Neeti rejects. Sharman says he wouldn't stop otherwise..as he handles the entire Wadhwa business, lots of meetings..etc..etc.. but he stopped coz he saw her. Neeti says she isn't interested.. Sharman stops his car in the middle of the road and walks with Neeti.. he asks her why she ain't interested.. Neeti tells him this is the reason, coz guys have no other work but to follow girls.. Just then a tow-truck comes and tows Sharman's car away.. Sharman realises his car has been towed..tries to stop them..turns around and sees Neeti has gone too..
At home, Dadaji is trying to explain to Su that he took a hasty decision to resign. Su tells Dadaji that he took the right decision and it was about time to pass on the responsibilities to Dhruv..just like Kul passed it on to him. Su tells everyone that today it may seem hasty, but its only in the best interest of the family.. they've always been with him through all his decision..and to trust him even now. Dhruv tells KK to talk to him..
BREAK..
KK asks Su whats the matter with him.. She has noticed his behaviour has changed in the last 2 days..he's not the same Su. First the way he scolded Sharman, which was very unlike him..and now his resignation. Su tries to explain it to KK that he wants his kids to become more responsible..and that is why he is doing so...its just for a short period. KK understands that Su is pretending to be stern just to make the kids realise their responsibilities, and asks him how long will the pretence go on. Su tells her, a month or 2..maybe less..
At dinner, Dadaji asks Sharman what happened about the interview he had fixed for him.. Sharman says something came up and he was late for the interview..but he will definitely go next time. Su is furious at Sharman..tells him that he may not know the value of time or anything, but Dadaji has a name & reputation in the business world, and every word that Dadaji says has value.. so he better respect that. Su gives Sharman an ultimatum.. that if he does not find a job in the next 2 days, he will have to leave the house.. Everyone shocked at Su's behaviour..
