I wanted to become an actress. I came to Mumbai and started my career as any other newcomer would. My first TV serial is 'Shaheen' on Sony Entertainment Television.

How did you enter the television world?
I wanted to become an actress. I came to Mumbai and started my career as any other newcomer would. My first TV serial is 'Shaheen' on Sony Entertainment Television.

What are your current TV projects?
Presently I am engaged only with Kumkum on Star Plus.

Tell us something about your character in the serial Kumkum telecast on Star Plus.
I play the role of a woman who has so many important roles in one role of Kumkum.
I am the responsible daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and all other roles that any woman goes throughout her life. I am very happy with my role in the serial. It has been great working for it.

What do you do in your leisure time?
I am generally very busy. I hardly get any leisure time.

According to you, what has been your best performance till date?
It is over three and a half years that the serial is going on. It is very difficult to tell which one is my best performance. But I would like to mention that I enjoyed and performed my best while I was playing a double role in the serial Kumkum.

What are your future plans?
I never plan for the future. I take each day as it comes.

You are right damsel. Plans are futile. If you plan,you become rigid and then finally you have to abort your plan because sticking to a plan is almost impossible because unexpected things happen every day:)
