I am thinking about the top post on this page and how Dadajee saw Kumkum's face and did not comment on it. Here's what I thought was going on with Dadajee. Even though he is old and is becoming forgetful - he is not stupid and his forgetfulness does not (probably) relate to long term memories. He knows that Roli is covering her face for some reason - whether it is religious or shyness or what ever (we know why) so once he sees the face of his deceased bahu and reocgnizes it - he has to cover up that recognition until he can think about it more - decide why she is calling herself "Roli" and why she is hiding herself. So he has to decide how to proceed- without having her run away - what we have to worry about is that he forgets that he saw that face and does not comment on it to Dadi or Veena. Perhaps now Kumkum will be less careful about covering her face around him and he will see it again. Who knows - we can only wait until tomorrow.
