TRP 3.6 Leap is doing amazing great!

Kumkum Bhagya took 20 Years Leap in last March and since then the show is doing amazing well with the leap track and shocked everyone with continuously rising in TRP every week. This week Kumkum Bhagya touches 3.6TRP in Urban Chart for regular episodes and including Saturday 7pm Maha Episode show average 3.0TRP, still stay in TOP 3! Last time this much high TRP was during a party where Tanu tries to jealous Pragya and the blind game twist. Looks like this time drug drama, Abhigya's effort to save to Prachi, Hit and Misses, Rhea's crime did wonder!

Congrats to the team! Now the next target for the maker should be to touch 3.7TRP or 3.8TRP!

Yes! It seems tv audience like the added drama and freshness that the new leap has brought in, otherwise tanu's drama had become monotonous for them. That is usual of generation leaps.

Yes dear got your point, agreed but no matter what, I watched KB Tanu's time too lol and yes fans were considering that the leap won't work but it surprised everyone now and I always knew if the story is interesting TRP will work. See, I was right! As yes it's not like every shows gen leap works, KKB one works in recent times.

But I truly feel sad for Ekta's KZK2, SUCH HEAVY promotion but nothing is working! On the other hand, Ekta neglects both Bhagya but those shows are giving all the profit to her and Zee. And yes looks like KARMA for Ekta!

The yeh hai mohabbatein gen leap worked and kept the high ratings sustained but this past year the show has become so boring that even the ratings show that YHM is on it's last leg and on it's way out in perhaps a year time or less. It depends really. What I find is usually the new gen leaps of ekta usually work, and the ones that work are the ones full of the right amount of high octane drama to tv audiences taste, but rarely have I seen new gen leaps fail in terms of ratings for ekta kapoor. The only new gen leap that bored me in a balaji serial was bade achche lagte hain, mainly because of ram-priya's daughter pihu's horrid daughter the leap was boring. Like pihu didn't even do evil things like rhea does, yet pihu in contrast was still far more nasty and shockingly horrid of a personality in my opinion. The actress was still better than the one playing rhea imo.

Outside of ekta kapoor the only other show of recent times in the past two years where a generation leap worked for a show was naamkarann where the ratings were incredibly low and the show was heavily criticised for its treatment of a child up until the leap that truly brought new life to the show and got it popularity. Other than that, most of the times generation leaps where they show the lead's adult children or young child lead growing into adulthood usually have worked. Only certain shows failed to garner ratings even with a gen leap, and those were usually the ones that already had below average ratings or didn't grab viewer's attention since the start. Honestly ekta manages to usually get it right in terms of holding viewer's attention, so I wasn't shocked that this leap worked.

For me I never watched or liked the show, and started watching briefly just for kiara-abhi's bonding, but then got bored an stopped, but started rewatching along side my mother after this new leap.

Perhaps because ekta was satisfied rating wise from her bhagya shows that she wanted to focus on KZK2? Plus kasauti is one messy show with a history of having a messy story line that I'm not surprised that ekta would be paying more attention to that show more right now than her bhagya shows that have a more clear cut story line that is far less complicated than whatever story she wants to show in kasauti. Plus with KSG's entry (heard SP invested a huge amount in his salary to get him on-board) ekta is desperate to make the show work. But yes, although kasauti has actually been in the top 10 for quite a while (not sure about last week's position) the show somehow still didn't achieve the attention that the original got.

The show has always been doing great. All of last year, the show was in the top 3 and there were times when it touched 4 wth trps. So the leap has nothing to do with it. This has been an audience fav for 5 years now. So this credit giving to the new generation is preposterous. Also, if am not mistaken the trp for today is 3.2. Not 3.6.

Dear see my post clearly I did mention when KKB got 3.6TRP last time, see salil post date and that wise check the last year episodes you will get the answer! The scenes I talked about, that was aired during that time, so yes that week TRP you posted, I already talked about.

And Salil did post BARC TRP that time in 2018 but nowadays he doesn't follow/post BARC TRP which is original, he post 'Free TO AIR TRPs' most of the time which is kind of correct. Now just check Salil's today's post, 3.2TRP for both Bhagyas, Kumkum ME TRP counted separately in another Salil's post and then check BARC TRPs where Kundali got 3.6 and Kumkum 3.0 in Urban Chart. So why the difference here? IT is beause BARC always include Maha Episode TRP that is why, one week TRP goes drastically down during ME time and another week drastically increase. According to Salil post both Bhagyas regular episodes TRP is 3.2 which 3.6 in BARC, so yes KKB too got 3.6TRP this week, just like Kundali in BARC Chart. Saturday's ME causes the change in BARC! Salil counted the Maha Episode TRP separately which actually gave us the clear picture for BARC real TRP KKB this week!

*ME aired on Week 30 - 20th July 7pm, which fall in this week TRP even Salil mentioned!

Am just saying the leap has nothing to do with trps. The trps have always been there for the show. That was never a problem. It's a beloved show thanks to Abhi-Pragya/Sriti-Shabir.
