For once....with some predictability of course

For once, I liked the fact that Ranbir was actually given screen time to enact something different from just roaming about with girls or talking bakwaas with Aryan or swooning over Rhea or indulging on silly bickerings with Prachi.

For once, I liked the fact that Prachi listened to him instead of simly stupidly arguing with him. In fact, it was the first time I liked their arguments.

For once, I liked the fact that Disha was able to see Purab and vice versa instead of like the umpteen ridiculous hits and misses of Abhi and Pragya. And, for once, I liked the fact that she saw all of them.

And, most important of all,for once, I liked the fact that they showed Rhea having some brains and LISTENING TO PRACHI.

OC, the episode had its brilliantly silly scenes too. Abhi fighting and bashing up the goons reminded me of Jeetendra (the comparison is deliberate, this being an EK serial) fighting many villains in his movies despite being hurt. And he and Pragya despite their ages are so agile, running better than the fastest runner on Earth (forgot his name just now).

And, the fact, that Dadi, Purab and Aliya missed this entire speech very conveniently to facilitate Abhi and Pragya to meet after six months. And yes, nobody would have recorded this and CCTVs also would have stopped functioning.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed this utterly nonsensical episode for some very sweet scenes.

One more thing, I just wanted to know whether it is my imagination or is it that Mugdha looks beautiful in simple attire and simple makeup than all these gaudy dresses. OC, they have corrected her hairstyle, so she looks pretty, but I felt she was dragging herself in that heavy costume of hers yesterday.😃

Furthermore, there was no Aliya, which was a bonus. I hope that they show Ranbir focusing on his career as he is joining his fathers office.

Absolutely... referring to the age factor of Abhigya one aspect which continuously bothers me is that howcome parents above 60 can still have tight skin and not a single grey hair.... I mean EK could've used some pepper spray to use some kinda burhapa you know what I mean

I also wanted to make a post about yesterday's episode, but you saved me time. You literally said everything that I liked as well as found ridiculous about yesterday's episode that I have nothing else to add to it. Even I find it silly that disha straight away sees everyone without any real hits and misses yet abhigya.... Everyone who recognises pragya keeps having hits and misses with her. It's silly as hell. And yesterday I really liked what they showed of prachi, ranbir and rhea; for once they showed all three behaving sensibly, maturely and using their brains as well as listening to each other in order to get out of the situation. This is the third time I've genuinely found ranbir likeable and mature, the first and second time being when he stood up for prachi at college and didn't judge her for the food poisoning incident and the second when he thought shahana had made prachi cry and he attempted to confort and cheer her up both times till prachi herself ruined it by showing him attitude. There are times I genuinely feel ranbir is better and more sensible than prachi. My only qualm yesterday was that as usual they showed the guy using his brains to get them out of the problem whilst prachi was just shown panicky and confused like they always show female leads/ girls in serials. They need to show prachi being more smart and hands-on otherwise right now she's shown to be very short-tempered, sensitive and emotional.

Mughda looks incredibly beautiful in traditionals and looks like a doll. I like her casual look of a pretty kurta with skinny jeans, but somehow I found her incredibly beautiful in her current hair and that pink outfit. I do wish though they would dress her to look more feminine and young rather than trying so hard to make her look like a college going small town girl but at the same time she look really pretty in the slightly indo-western simple kurta and jeans outfits they put her in. I saw this look of hers on her insta and she looks heavenly here:

For me mughda reminds me so much of kajol since I saw her in prithviraj chauhan, because how she represents a simple and classical indian beauty and not the colour-biased indian beauty standards that are expected of indian women to have fair skin etc. Sad to see kajol having lightened her skin visibly.

@sammy, regarding Mugdha absolutely true. I mean the picnic trip costumes made her look very, very pretty. Yeah she carries herself beautifully in Indo-Western outfits. But thank God they made her hair alright.

And as to ur point regarding the fact that it is the male who always thinks, yeah u r bang on. I think this is what misfit also used to mention. Even at that moment I was also thinking why not allow the two to think together. But at least the fact that they showed Prachi as saving her mother and the idea of hitting with the vase was hers, in itself is progression. BTW both baap-beti are accurate in throwing vases from a distance.šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘.

And, yes they could show Prachi as having brains and a quiet confidence apart from her DNA from her mother.

One more thing. In one episode, I think the one in where Pragya gets trapped in the kitchen during the party, Mugdha looked like Shalini ( she is a South Indian actor) - the same softness in her face.

so pragya was being held at gunpoint and abhi storms in and starts to fight with the bad guys yet they still dont see each other 🤣 firstly abhi wouldnt have just randomly come in and start to fight, he would have had to get a proper look on who he should be fighting. and secondly surely if someone suddenly steps in and start fighting the bad guys you (pragya) would take a look at what the commotion is about???šŸ˜•šŸ˜• what an absolute joke. at first all the misses were dramatic, but its now just stupid. i agree the part with ranbir, prachi and rhea was amazing. i feel like they should just give the whole pragya abhi story a rest now and focus on the younger ones coz they have turned their story into a complete circus. i cant believe this show is still on air, yet other much better ones get taken off air.

And the wired thing was that he was literally touching her. As someone pointed out, their connection doesn't seem to work nearbyšŸ˜†. They have ruined Abhi-Pragyas story beyond redemption. I also believe that they should give the young generation a chance. I saw some good thing in Rhea today. If they can show growth in Rhea, it would be very good. But, they will never show it as someone needs to be villain for shows continuity.
