I always thought getting Bulbul or new girl for Purab is worth some content, but that track was also not shown in proper way.. it looks as of now that writers have exhausted their ideas for any further content..

Else what is this new concept of Aaliya and Tanu wanting Abhi's assets? I mean why Tanu? and Aaliya is okay with that, so lame..

It's the aim of the ph to establish a new show to prove their credentials.
Hence they have put 2 of their successful shows n Jodis in the back burner n trying to prove that they've still got stuff.
They need to promote n establish new shows n jodis to do so .
Hence using the time trusted successful shows/jodis to promote ancillary/new ones.
The successful jodis are helping the ph.
The ph has full confidence in kkb n the other one.
They can always be revived even from rock bottom.
The viewers n fan followers are suckers for anything thrown at them.
As long as their fav stars are a part of the show.
Power n belief in loyalty.

KKB already crossed 900 episodes milestone. Getting suspicious are they are planning to some how stretch KKB upto 1000 episodes and give up on continuing with this show? mainly due to lack of creative ideas as to how to keep so much in love married couple separated for years together without taking any generation leaps and honeymoon/consummation routes and without repeatedly using Tanu?? 🤔

If you keep aside non availability of cast for shoots for different reasons, last few months of 2017 what ever has been shown in KKB is giving couple of indications;

1. Writers are still not clear where and how to take Abhi & Pragya's story after they have finally made Abhi retain his memory, since they don't want to lose Taaliya's domination in Mehra mansion at any cost without showing the need to punish evils either within or outside law.

2. Writers and creatives have made some rough outline how next tracks around Abhi & Pragya's lives should shape up till they separate them next, but senior writers are unable to give sufficient time and required focus in developing some engaging and entertaining tracks and sub tracks in detail. 😕

I refuse to believe that the cast & crew is not aware of fall in KKB viewership, increased boredom and frustrations being reported by fans for more than a month now.

Are they purposely trying to drive away long time KKB audience from the show with some other motive? Or do they want channel to bring down the show on their own rather than Balaji offering to step down quoting lack of creative content to continue Abhigya story for long? Or are they assuming that audience will hook up to watch emerging love stories of their brand new characters Munni and Disha with new struggles arising due to their fights with Tanu and Aliya individually or Taaliya together? Or are they too confident that most sections of 3.5 yrs habituated audience will anyhow watch the show at 9pm slot just to see Tisha onscreen also with an anticipation that Pragya is not dead and may be back some day?

I'm more and more getting convinced that Kumkumbhagya at 9pm slot on Zee is about to slowly shut its shop and production house, channel and cast are maintaining secrecy about this matter due to business and marketing reasons.

Before bringing down curtains Ekta and team wanted to completely en-cash on Abhigya/Tisha fandom, serials popularity in both rural & urban sectors, KKB brand name and divert its ratings hence suddenly came up with a spin-off idea with similar title and similar character sketch of four new leads and a new rich Luthra family on lines with Mehra family (was that actually any where close to a classic spin-off?). 😳

Also they seem to have ensured that production cost and actors budgets of KDB are less than KKB so that they extract better profit margins in the long run. (other than Shradda remaining cast on rolls may be on low remuneration brackets unlike KKB).

Why Balaji team couldn't have instead come up with a brand new daily show on Zee with a fresh concept? Simple reason NONE of Ekta's social fictional dramas be it finite series or infinite dailies that started right from 2015 onwards could win over audience, grab required attention for sustained period, give her great revenues, be in headlines or have top places secured in weekly TRP charts. Many Balaji shows got abruptly shut down by different channels or currently under scanners due to bad performance, decreased viewership and lackluster plots.

Guess KKB to end with Abhi-Pragya and Purab-Disha shown as two happily married couples deeply in love by revealing Munni's truth and throwing out Taaliya again from MM, they may even show us a lamely shot consummation sequence of Abhigya and Dishrab in the end..😛 But till then writers, cvs and directors will try hard to some how manage 9pm slot with filler episodes for few months, since they have lost shine and creative juices long back to come up with fresh ideas as to how to keep a married couple Abhigya separate for ever, if Taaliya are out of MM. 🤔

Later won't be surprised if either KDB gets shifted to 9pm slot on Zee or gets converted into a 1 hr daily show from 9pm to 10pm and by that time one of the two sisters will be shown as a married woman with one of Luthra brothers in KDB to restart unwanted marriage track on lines of KKB. 🥱 This way ad revenues plus TRPs of KKB can continue to get utilized on Zee despite closing the show.
