True, they do happen. I'm wondering why the show changed it's tone and went rural suddenly. In the weekly BARC ratings, this show score low from rural viewers. So how will this help in ratings??

Not sure though which movie plot has been used to copy Munni's entry.. 😆

Feel writers and cvs have assumed that rural and small town audience will fall flat for Haryanvi setup and dialect and then added to that they made Munni's village dialect, style and mannerisms from UP/Bihar. 😛 So even if urban TRP's fall they could have planned to cover up overall TRP's using rural ratings. This sudden village focus was probably to cover up for lack of any engaging and entertaining content or serious tracks, but that's exactly where their ploy seems to have backfired, both urban and rural audience seem to getting disengaged added to lack of Tisha/Abhigya on screen. 😳

Now a days I'm getting some doubts..KKB already crossed 900 episodes milestone last week. Getting suspicious if writers are planning to some how stretch KKB upto 1000 episodes with snail paced and meaningless episodes like this that would take upto Dec end and then they plan to give up continuing with this story? mainly because they are lacking creative ideas as to 'how to keep a deeply in love married couple separated for years together without showing any generation leaps and consummation along with keeping all villains safe and sound around them' but showing viewers some sort of progress in Abhigya story ?? 🤔

If plan is really to end show will Ekta and Zee agree to shut down KKB or is it that main cast also got bored and wants to move on hence KDB has been started on Zee in advance by Ekta to bank on KKB brand name, Tisha/Abhigya popularity before it fades away?? 😕

Not sure how showing such negative things will attract rural viewers. Especially as I just posted, this show is losing rural viewers. I'm also guessing if writers have a finite goal for this show. Like you said, 1000 epis or so and end it.

I keep asking myself this: why did they start a spin off so similar to KKB? They could have started a totally new show. It seems like this is KDB is KKB 3.0. Last Sept, after Abhi's accident, they called it KKB 2.0, a new beginning. KDB is a fresher version of old KKB. Having 2 similar plots may not work well?? Maybe KKB will take on a new plot with new characters.

Agree. This show has defamed urban, rural, young, old, women and men. Nothing left to defame anymore, I guess.

Yep, to drag. Why can't they show like in all other tracks with taaliya plotting? This rural sub track and Disha and Munni as village girls has such a different feel that I can't relate at all.😕

Here is the issue. Now there are no issues between AbhiGya. First year Abhi hated Pragya- Taaliyah plotted. Second year Tannu pregnancy issue was there- AbhiGya could not be together in real sense.
And when that solved, they made Abhi lose memory. And when his memory came back, they gotta do something to move to the same zone right?? A zone where AbhiGya can't be together. Now if Pragya exists like Pragya, she and Abhi will have their happy life. But KB is not about AbhiGya's happy life but the lack of it in hope of it. So this is another new trick.

And now it's open ended. There are so many possibilities for CVs to take this track. Munni is memory lost Pragya, Munni is Pragya with a different motive that we have no idea about,
Munni is not Pragya and real Pragya will come eventually- perhaps after Abhi loses faith in love, Nunni has Pragya's heart somehow and Pragya is dead...

So lots of ways this can drag. The point is this can drag. This is just a new way to drag.
The more they drag the more the soap loses its essence.

For my own experience- the first year I kind of shipped AbhiGya.. second year I was okay.. third year I didn't care.. now it doesn't matter!

One day soap will end this way.

Forgot to add. CVs would rather have a long running soap with drags than a story that ends before it starts to go drag/become nonsensical.

So it looks like this show is on its downward spiral then, huh?? 🤔 Keep the suspense going for this track with who's Munni, like the show is on a ventilator now. Then they may pull the plug. At least by then abhigya would have lived a few days as husband and wife.😳

Prani, doing well. Thanks for asking. Summer is long gone for us with the new academic year and schools are also starting for the kids. Hope you are enjoying what is left of the summer😊.

I don't know what to think of the show or the writers anymore, Prani. Is Pragya really gone? I am finding it very hard to believe that, but what you are saying seems logical. I can't bring myself to watch the show with the new Munni with Pragya's face, plotting with the witches and Abhi being in the dark yet again. Now there is no fight from Pragya/ Munni either, just complete subservience😭. Why would the writers / directors think that this would interest viewers?

OK, I didn't know about the 3 year contracts. I understand that all good things must end and I can accept that. But why not go off air flying high, with justice for once with a panache? Why do they have to put the show through a slow strangulation? 😡This part, I don't understand.

Yes, I agree, trying to kill this show to get the other show up and running seems to be so stupid. I have not yet given up hope that Pragya is alive somewhere, this is what makes me come to the forum for updates. I wish they let us know if they are not going to bring her back, so people like me can call it a day and rest in peace🤢. But of course, I will miss the forum and all the lively and sometimes heated discussions😲that happen here.

Have a great evening 😃!!!!

I think we need to basically analyze the writers because I feel no set of writers can ruin a show with wonderful actors like how they have been doing with KKB and its cast. They need not come out with unique plots, just normal logical ones, showing some happiness among the good people and villains getting exposed rather than showing two smart leads, a rock star, a very independent self-reliant professor into mere spectators and puppets in the villains hands. And a rock star who had once been so aggressive and domineering always been kept in the dark and now pining to start a happy married life with his wife. And Aalya doing the same set of plotting and planning and always dominating Mehra household even after Abhi throwing her out and Tanu (feel weak to even write about her, she had outlived her purpose long long time ago, her presence just is a proof that the director has some partiality towards her otherwise Leena herself would not like to see herself acting as Tanu now seeing she has been so thrust upon us again and viewers hating her presence).
If the writers are short of ideas or Ekta wants to end the show, they can show some good happy episodes between Abhigaya, show Mehra family as a happy household, expose the villains and end the serial showing Pragya pregnant, that will be enough for the viewers to think of the serial fondly for a long time (though we will be missing Abhigaya and Tisha very very much) instead of gradually killing the serial and giving us a distaste of Abhigaya together in the form of Abhi and Munni (though Sriti is doing a wonderful job of it).
