Jul 6/17 Reactions - Episode #880 aka "Abhi vs Taaliya FINALLY"

What is Mina Show?

When I watch an episode and react with random comments/recaps moments that struck my attention. Also sometimes my various family members participate, mostly my dad, who likes to give episodes letter grades because he's a retired professor and misses grading assignments apparently 😆

Can I comment?

While I am watching the episode, the thread has "Res" for a title, and I would ask for no comments then please so that all of my reactions can flow together. After that yes of course you can comment 😊

Hi guys, I'm watching the rebroadcast on Zee India and I don't know if it's gonna be the whole hour or only half an hour! So let's see.

Montage is crying Abhi holding MS, from the promo 😭

We get a scene where Nikhil proclaims he's not afraid of Aaliya. OK so we are being treated to inter-villain squabbles...why? Do these people still matter?

Sarla storms in and berates Daadi for taking Pragya. Too bad it's so late; I've wanted Sarla to yell these things forever.

Back to a TaAliya scene. Laughing at the prospect of Pragya's ghost haunting them. Y'all are lucky she's not dead, girls, cause that would be a very unpleasant haunting for you 😛

Mithali brings the girls down to Sarla...why? I missed a dialogue there.

All these scenes shot with body doubles - or at least angles that imply that - are damn annoying.

It's a good thing Taaliya get booted out by Abhi in this episode...dragged out bragging would be unbearable.

Abhi caresses a collage and has flashbacks of ML events. Prags isn't there to narrate these to him so it seems his memory of that time has also come back.

I am not a fan of suffering Abhi if it means I HAVE TO SUFFER TOO. Right now neither he nor I know what has become of Pragya and THIS IS TORTURE AGAINST THE GENEVA CONVENTION OK.

Ok, not ok, poor joke. Don't joke about international treaties, guys. Don't elevate your wounded sensibilities in comparison to actual traumas suffered by actual people. Don't be me, my loves!

OH NOOO THIS IS AN ABRIDGED EPISODE.

It jumps straight to Abhi throwing them out.

No no yeh nahin chalega.

I'm gonna get the real epi and come back.

OK so the real epi starts with Abhi still crying in Purab's arms.

Bless, Vin has a very lovely arm.

Abhi is talking about Pragya's promise not to leave and how could she do this to him. I get that bereaved people say such things but...my dude...dying is not a think she did "to" you!!!

A couple of quick flashbacks later and Abhi tells us that his heart can only beat while Pragya's does, that if he breathes Pragya must be breathing. Can I just say...we have waited...so...very...very...very...VERY...long for a moment like this. Thank you Abhi and thank you CVs and COLOUR ME SHOCKED that I actually followed this show 3.5 years and got to witness this moment, god knows mujhe kaunsa pagal keeda ne kata tha...😆

Anyway it's beautiful dialogue, perfectly expressing what they want us to believe about AbhiGya's, and showing us that FINALLY Abhi has achieved certainty about his feelings, finally this love is unquestionably real...and may it stay that way ❤️

Meanwhile Purab is thinking rationally and wants to traumatize Abhi back to loveless sanity with Pragya's corpse.

Sorry I need to soap out my brain for even thinking the above sentence.

Uff, sorry guys, I was interrupted while watching the ep and won't be able to finish Mina Show.

I did watch some clips of Abhi's reaction to TaAliya earlier today - god that was powerful! They didn't get as much as they deserved but Abhi was...amazing. Not too much and not too little of anything. Normally I am anti-slap when it comes to Abhi raising his hand on any woman...this time I was shocked to find I wasn't as outraged as I should have been when he slapped Aaliya :P

Dad watched the ep without me and he wants everyone to know that he thinks both the Wednesday and Thursday eps deserves A+s because everything was very good. He was very glad to finally see Abhi unleash his temper on the villains. He is sure that Pragya is still alive and returning soon.

I'm sure of that too! But let's see what tomorrow brings. Thanks for reading :)
