They got Abhi's sample to prove he's not the dad. Pragya's friend doc gave a report that Abhi is not the dad.
Tanu was going to show a report with Abhi as dad, the one taaliya created. She didn't so far.
My observations:
Old Nikhil during last track if I remember blackmailed Tanu that he has original pregnancy report and also got his DNA samples matched with Tanu's child when she was in hospital once, and warned her not to play games with him later. So Nikhil does hold original pregnancy test report and also DNA reports that state Nikhil Sood as the father of Tanu's child. Purab & Pragya found the same file in Nikhil's locked up cupboard when they searched his bedroom in his absence.
Taaliya have been compelled not to use fake reports in this track which Tanu was holding earlier that showcased Abhi as Tanu's child father, due to the scare of Abhi's memory returning or he coming to know about his past of being Pragya's husband.
So it means literally only one file is currently in use that Abhi has already seen, without any duplicate versions that can be used. Both Abhi & Purab informed Tanu during hall tamasha that the reports are original as confirmed by hospital. Purab also mentioned to Abhi in his room that different people in hospital reconfirmed that they have treated model Tanu for pregnancy and abortion few months back. (this piece of info Tanu is not yet aware, she only knows Purab showed Abhi some test reports from hospital, she hasn't even read them so far)
I hinted 3-4 options in another thread that Taaliya may use to prove Tanu as innocent or Purab has an MU. Like - Tanu Mehta in the report mentioned may be some other girl and not model Tanushree Mehta, Tanu has health issue due to which she can't conceive easily, Nikhil is gay or impotent so he can't father a child etc. so Tanu being pregnant with Nikhil's child is ruled out 😆
