Hi Mina,

I wanted to acknowledge Sriti's work in raising awareness on social issues. I feel her work is a combination of entertainment and social justice, in a way. I've appreciated her acting from that perspective!! Not sure if it fits the categories you listed. Please let me know if this works. Thank you.

Sriti Jha - An Institution More Powerful than NGO's

Ganga in Balika Vadhu, Jhanvi in Dil se dua...Sowbhagyavati bhava, and Sunaina in Jiya Jale - are all difficult characters played by Sriti on screen. Each of these characters sheds light on huge issues in Indian society. The troubles of Ganga as a child bride, struggles of Jhanvi married to an abusive husband, and heavy challenges Sunaina has to combat just to have a decent and simple life are all shown powerfully and melt viewers' hearts thanks to Sriti's superb portrayal of these difficult characters. Sriti's talent and deftness with which she enacts these roles have helped create awareness on those issues that non-governmental organizations have been trying to advocate. That's tremendous community service! Thank you, Sriti!!

As Pragya in Kumkum Bhagya, Sriti effortlessly conveys the trials of a simple girl's love for a high society rockstar. Her love is pure and her commitment to the man she loves stands tall like the Himalayas, but is no match for her cruel antagonists. Pragya's saga is an entertaining commentary on state of love relationships today. Pragya has evoked a variety of reactions in viewers - all of them a testimony to Sriti's superb acting.

Beautiful post Prani 👏 I wanted to add another role of hers...Sudha/Devika from Jyoti! The role which showed how some incidents in childhood could create an impact on a persons brain. Multiple personality disorder is such a sensitive issue and should be handled carefully. Sriti did that with so much dedication, she even stayed awake in nights to make sudha look tired. This role shed light on mental disorder. As an actor this will always remain as Sriti's best performance.
I know it's birthday thread but couldn't stop myself from posting this here.
