My observation and slightly different prediction on this burn Pragya alive plan of Tanu in party where Mitali is being bribed to help Tanu by luring her with diamond jewellery. Tanu's plan will backfire no doubt about it, but will she be caught in cameras or not and will Mitali point her fingers at Tanu, later is something that can make this repeatedly yawning recycled 'kill Pragya' plot little interesting to watch.

Mitali knows what it is to get jailed when her husband faced the sufferings, she is also aware that police is investigating Purab's pre-planned accident and may actually be scared that this Pragya murder plan can be a risky affair. Mitali also knows how evil Tanu is if she can kill Purab & Pragya she may as well kill her or her husband going forward. Also there is no guarantee Tanu will save Mitali if somebody gets suspicious of her hand in whole scheme.

One option - Mitali has now got a chance to partially redeem herself in Raj's eyes and rework on their marital relation which has been stalemate for several months. If in a twist of tale Mitali gets panicky & informs Raj about Tanu's evil plan and he tries to save Pragya from kitchen, then Raj-Mitali marriage can get a second chance in show. I remember from some old scenes that MM kitchen has a back door.

Second option - Raj may overhear Mitali speaking to Tanu or Aliya about Pragya kitchen murder plan, he gets alert and reaches in time to save Pragya on his own. This may actually lead towards ending his marriage permanently with Mitali in the show after getting furious on how she was helping Tanu in a murder plan for the sake of jewellery.

Also Raj has been feeling terribly bad for joining hands with Taaliya and harming Pragya few times in Mogambo track and he also felt responsible for Bubul's death. This sub-plot may make Raj guilt free as well. Ofcourse even Raj will get some screen space and dialogues in the show. His role hardly had any scenes in the last few months especially in ML track.

PS. Have seen few off screen pics of night shoot with Aliya, Tanu, Mitali and Raj in MM lawns so I hope Raj gets some role to play in save Pragya this time for a change. 😛

Also Tanu could have easily made it look like an accident using same old gas cylinder blasting in the kitchen technique rather she carried two tins of petrol on her own to kitchen to leave evidences that its a murder attempt on Pragya, dumb girl indeed. She wasn't scared if kitchen catches fire, flames may spread to entire MM and destroy whole house. also in the party happening in MM hall lot of candles and decorative lights have been used that can easily spread a fire 😆

Episodes are sinking lower and lower. Your script is terrible. I'm not convinced ratings prove viewers love your show. I guess people are watching in shock and anger!

I'm so offended by the content lately. Don't you have any standards? This week, Mitali said Tanu throwing her jewelry was like Kaikeyi😲😡. Tanu is like Surpanakha who wanted Lakshmana no matter what. Today, you compared Tanu to Arjuna for her aim on Pragya like he had on the fish?😲😡OMG! Do you even know your culture and scriptures?😲 Bad analogies from Ramayana and Mahabharata!! Who's writing these lines, man?😡

How do you write a love story that goes nowhere? Are you really proud of your work, writers? All I can say is your standards are so low!! You created 2 leads - one highly educated the other very successful - that have great potential to take the show to great success. Why is your script limiting them on so many levels? I don't see how 2 adults in their 30's can't figure out each loves the other.😕 If they have, you have not let them share their feeling for each other.😕 And when they're ready to share, you interrupt their ILU's for totally stupid reasons like today. Abhi was ready to tell Pragya, but Pragya interrupts to get dadi her appetizers.😡 OMG, that's a slap on viewers' faces. What games you play, CV's!

Your episodes are turning into horror shows.😡 Every week a new way to kill Pragya. That's not appropriate for a family show. How is it you never write script where your leads are ahead of the villains at least once?😲 This is so unrealistic. How come the leads never suspect what's happening to him/her are planned attempts by the villains they very well know? How is this complimentary to the leads? You're damn lucky you have great actors like Shabir and Sriti who make up for your shallow story. And you're lucky you have loyal viewers to save your show. Aren't you insulting your own leads, CV's?? That's what I don't get. Who's side are you guys on?😡 Where is your loyalty to the female lead you created as a simple and good hearted? You guys throw her under the bus more than Taaliya.😡

This ping pong game of bad girls trying to kill Pragya and Abhi saving Pragya is so stale that it stinks now. Again and again and again. It's so boring now that nothing makes sense anymore. Like today, how come no one smelled petrol? How come no one saw Tanu walk inside with big petrol cans? How come Pragya had to cook the appetizers?😲 Are there no cooks? She's Abhi's secretary, why would she cook at a party of his album launch? You guys kicked her out of MM and now you make her cook for the party?😡 And Mitali threatening Tanu she'll tell Abhi all her secrets if she doesn't get the jewels - that's a joke. What happened to Abhi's stress attacks?

Live up to your title as creative team. Hope to see something convincing, realistic, and meaningful soon.

Prani, thanks for writing this post. I was shocked and speechless after watching what we were shown in the last 2 days. If I can gather my thoughts around and be sane, I will post. But I am so glad you wrote what you did.

I just wish we throw the writers in a burns unit and let them see the disfigurement, suffering and the anguish that the victims face to show these kind of things so casually😡. Then they will have to think twice before coming up with such a horrific plan. I still get the chills thinking about those days of dowry deaths when I was training a few years ago. I don't know what the status is these days in the hospital burns units. But I can tell you, some of us used to be scared to the bone just to walk through the burns unit at night when you are on call. That sadness, the suffering and stench is unbelievably frightful😭, cannot be explained. I am sure some of you had seen this all🤢

In the last 2 weeks, the amount of violence we have seen is phenomenal. The cold blooded way that they are showing the villains carrying out these attacks is what is leaving me scared and horrified. Would any normal person think of killing somebody in such a horrific manner to get a man? This show is showing this psychopathic behavior with so much aplomb and the villains never getting caught. This is so terrible. They are romanticizing this devious and perverted behavior and covering it up with gloss and glamour. This should not be a prime time show at all🤢

A belated Holi, everybody! Finally caught up w/ the week's events.

So at the media event for the party, Abhi openly celebrated Pragya as his inspiration, making Tanu burn w/ jealousy and creating a pretext for one great Abhigya episode. And it was funny seeing Mitali at a loss to explain to Aliya how that picture remained there. Not that it would have helped - there were copies on the curtains too 😆

The photo session where the guy wanted to take a profile photo of Pragya from the back or side - I found Abhi's reactions slapstick. Why couldn't he just go to her and zip up the blouse - it was blouse getting unzipped, not ripped. Also, how did Pragya herself not notice it? For me, that ruined the scene - Abhi should have zipped her up, and let her bask in her own glory, instead of questioning the photographers.

So Tanu got pissed off enough to go into her room and throw her tantrums, but why did Mitali have to follow her, and then get caught up in this plot? And Tanu too - given Mitali's track record, why does she confide in her, of all people? Also, while Tanu is desperate, she's totally lost it: she just rigged an accident where Purab is on death's door, and suspicion could fall on her at any minute, and here she is plotting her next plot - on getting rid of Pragya?

As others noted, every party in this serial is an assassination attempt on Pragya. This time, Nikhil is reduced to being the diesel supplier, and Tanu does this herself - she doesn't leave it to Mitali, so maybe she has some sense. But just pouring diesel on the floor b4 she had a chance to lock Pragya in - usual stupid Tanu. Pragya slipped, and had Dasi not come and grabbed her, she would have found out more. Incidentally, diesel has a strong smell that is instantly recognizable - how would she have missed that? And this mini episode just gave the pretext for Pragya to leave her phone w/ Dasi - WHY? 😡 After all the attempts that have been made on her, she should have her phone at ALL times so that she can make emergency calls. In fact, when making that list, why doesn't she do what I do - make that list on the smartphone? That way, it's always there.

So the episode ends w/ Tanu about to light up the floor. So burning down MM would be her way of getting rid of Pragya? But what's to prevent that fire from burning down the rest of the house, and endangering others? Yeah, Mitali withdrew others from the kitchen area, but is that enough? And why does Tanu have to worry about saving anyone else except Abhi: everybody is against her, so if she burns down everybody, then she can possibly have Abhi to herself. So why that charade about any concern for the others?

And like others said, Abhi rescuing Pragya #8678412131548478613123 is getting old. They keep dragging these things w/o ever showing sustained good moments, then there is a leap and b4 one knows it, the story has completely changed.

Incidentally, when is Vin supposed to be back? Or does he have a long enough vacation to let us forget him - the way we did Bulbul?

Mon Mar 13 epi Knight in shining armor!

Tanu's stupid idea backfires again. No pun intended! Anyone seen the old movie Backdraft? There's a science behind fire. I like Ron Howard's movies. 😛 But the fire in KKB defied all science. Like the IBM haldi plate aka flying saucer that defied trajectory. Tanu's fire interestingly burned the borders of the carpet in rectangle shape.😲 But It didn't burn the curtains or the kitchen door.😕 Friendly fire, huh?

I totally didn't like Pragya's scenes. She's always helpless crying out for suniye to help her. Well, Pragya you call out for him like your life depended on it (and it does). You want Purab to stop the haldi and he did by going into coma. But the minute Abhi saves her, she forgets she should tell him her feelings.We have to keep playing this dil ki baat game. This time he was going to tell her he loves her. She interrupted him to bring dadi her appetizers. Honestly, Pragya crying out koi hai, etc did nothing to me. CV's intentionally show Pragya forgetting her phone, never suspecting taaliya are behind this, and relying on someone else to save her. I want to see my female lead handle her musibat herself and come out like a queen. As I keep posting, everytime Pragya enters looking good she ends up in a bad place waiting for someone to save her. No thank you, CV's.

Abhi gazing at Purab's collage of abhigya was ill-timed. But I liked him saying it's wrong that he's thinking so much of Pragya and the way he's thinking of her when he's going to get married to Tanu. Good! Same way I'd lke Pragya also to become aware of how it's wrong to hide her feelings from him and let him marry Tanu.

Taaliya scene was intense. I have to say Leena's acting is getting better. She did a great job as a psycho woman who wants to burn Pragya.

Abhi springs to action. He sends everyone out to safety. Tanu hurts herself and tries to stop him, but he saves her 😡 and leaves her in Raj's care. Tanu says it's his responsibility to be with her, and I loved what Abhi said. "My family is also responsible for you." Wow, what a guy! All for one and one for all - except for the wrong woman. How terrible that the team lets him waste his good heartedness on a undeserving woman like Tanu!😡 He gets a blanket, wets it and uses it to go into the fire. He doesn't even wait for the fire brigade.👍🏼

So from Abhi's pov, Pragya is accident prone.⭐️ That's a nice way to put it. So he has noticed the pattern. Since no one else is sharing any information, he's come to this conclusion. I like that. Same way, I'd like Pragya to realize taaliya are serial killers. She needs to come to a conclusion that when something bad happens to her, taaliykhil are behind it. Like she knew taaliya were behind BB's final accident. Behind her mother's kidnapping and paralysis. Wonder how many episodes it'll take her to get there.😕

I also liked Shabir's action scenes.👏 The way he opened the locked door with the stick. Abhi covered in a hooded blanket and Pragya not recognizing him is a throwback to how he came covered in a blanket to save Pragya in kidnapping track. Repeat.

From that point on, episode got too stupid for me. Pragya laughing at the soot on his face. The stupid eyelocks that have no meaning. Their nok jhok.

It's hilarious how there wasn't much smoke in the kitchen.😕 Pragya or Abhi were not coughing or choking. They could actually joke? CV's, don't romanticize fire. Fire is not some colorful backdrop for love scenes.

Mostly stupid epi. I liked Abhi's scenes a lot.

Love your review.

Writers use characters as per their convenience. They don't care about the characters. They only chare for the scene they are doing right now.

Inspite of the above, I like how they build Abhi's character in most of the scenes.

The quick realisation of his marriage with Tanu while he sees AbhiGya frame is so real. That conflict in feelings is so true. At the same time those eyelocks are stupid.

Abhi thinking Pragya will be in fire because of her accident prone nature is smartness.
Pragya thinking Abhi locked her inside is kitchen is stupidity.
(My opinion) why will he lock her there without him? He would come inside and lock them both if he wants to talk to her.

I did not like Pragya thinking if Abhi left her. Abhi can never leave anyone on fire leave alone Pragya.

The guy is responsible, smart, caring and helpful.
A blend of qualities I would want my hero to have along with some other stuff.

Thoughts on 13th March 2017 episode

Abhi's monologue 😲 👏

I was actually disappointed when I saw this the first time because I thought it was already clear that he is choosing Pragya but it seems poor boy has forgotten that he is going to get married to Tanu. Maybe he got carried away. But it's actually good that he realised that it's not right to romance with Pragya while he is going to get married to Tanu. Good bro! You can't sail in two boats.

But this made me think that Abhi is finding excuses to not confess his feelings - 1) He wasn't sure about his feelings, 2) He wasn't sure about Pragya's feelings, 3) Her card wasn't enough, he wanted her to tell him directly, 4) He realizes that he is an engaged man. I am sort of glad that the 4th excuse happened before Abhi/Pragya confessed their love because it would be so upsetting if Abhi who had wanted to know whether Pragya loves him, says "No, I have to marry Tanu" right after she confesses her love or he confesses his love.

I remember Prani saying somewhere "Ishq is a risk for Abhi". I think its true. He is filled with confusions and doubts when it comes to love. Actually this is good that he remembers he is an engaged man. He has to either break up with Tanu saying he doesn't love her and has someone in his heart or if you can't break up with Tanu, please stop having those eyelocking and flirting sessions with Pragya. That would be even more better - to act upon your thoughts.

And I don't think Abhi could break up with Tanu only if he knows she is evil. Gosh! How difficult life would be if it was like one could break up with someone only if they're evil! Of course, Tanu is not any normal girl who would move on but yaar, he doesn't even think about breaking up with Tanu. Shouldn't loving pragya be automatically equal to breaking up with Tanu? 😕

Abhi finding Pragya

I get that sometimes brain doesn't think straight in panic situations. But don't Daadi and Dassi know that Pragya went to kitchen? I expected them to tell Abhi that Pragya went to kitchen but it seems they forgot it.

Abhi thinks Pragya is 'Accident Prone'. Bro, it's good that you remember she gets in danger often but you know, she is definitely not 'Accident Prone' because I think if someone is being blamed falsely as a characterless person or a thief or if someone is declared pregnant falsely or if someone gets kidnapped or if someone gets locked in a cold storage - we don't call these as 'accidents'. May be you could have said 'danger prone'.

Blanket Hero and Fire Romance

Abhi quickly used his brain and wrapped him up with wet blankets to enter the fire zone. Pragya is getting prepared to save herself from some guy? 😲 Just few minutes before she was shouting 'Anybody there?' which then turned into 'Who are you? Don't come near me". Pragya baby, is the fire invisible to you? I guess you need not have panicked about someone taking advantage of you in such a situation.

I assumed they came outside the kitchen when I saw the eyelock but they were still inside the kitchen. Abhigya have eyelocks everywhere but in this track, they're so quick to be lost in each other. 😳 It would have been better if they had shown the scene where Pragya laughs at Abhi's' blackened face and Abhi seeing his face in a plate (May be they couldn't have got a plate outside the kitchen and that's why they didn't come out. What about Rockstar having a pocket mirror in his valet? Not likely 🤡) after coming out of the kitchen. Because even though I know, nothing would happen to Abhigya, I was still worried 'guys you have fire around you'.

Having said all these, I was reminded by a friend that Abhigya have had eyelock in fire before too. So this is nothing new. 😉

Even if Abhi breaks up with Tanu by some miracle, I doubt Aliya would break up her alliance with Tanu. 🥱
