If Abhi believes her, why would proof be needed? The whole reason for this saga is to convince Abhi. Dadi, Purab, Akash & Rachna already know, Indu, Raj, Mitali are irrelevant, Aliya is not on Pragya's side anyway...

If Abhi believes Pragya, what exactly does he need? A pretext to throw Tanu out? Which would require his discovering Nikhil?

I think it more likely that Abhi will stumble upon this by accident.
