Yes he redeemed himself. He marries Mehak (actress changed by then, I liked the new one better)... she is preggy with another guy's child at that time.. but Rishu's son is already older by then (he had impregnated her na), and then he takes care of her etc.. sweet stuff it was.

Mehak feels for him too..

Last mein he dies before the kid is born.. And Aamna names the kid as Rishi.. so that was a full circle.. Like Aamna (Kashish na) making peace with Rishi that way..

Oh right Rishi was awful with his flings with two sister and all that.. and that Sanjana he married for a bit LOL..

I never appreciated Rishi.. but as a character he was interesting.. he sweetness in him despite such filth.. you couldn't write him off..

I used to like the first one, they made an unconventional pair! okay ,he makes his peace with both kashish and mehak. At least a redemption arc before the death.

old Ekta shows had multiple marriages... glad she toned down that aspect.
waise , it matters as to how the actor plays the negative role! shabir played Rishi in such a way that people cared about the character despite the writing.

Yes of course. But I was expecting Aalu to be simialr to Rishi given how they showed Abhi was more or less like a dad to Aalu.. Oh that girl.. can't see anything in her hate..

Yeah they changed... i like the new one a bit better.. old one was not bad either..

Btw, I liked how heroines used to wear regular clothes in those days.. I mean just normal stuff.. not uniforms like aaj kal ke heroine..

yes Shabz sure had a big role in making Rishi that way.. He doesn't sugar coat things or make bad stuff too unbearable.. He gets you to feel for the character...

He said in an IV, he does not like goody goody characters.. no wonder he chooses characters like Milind or Abhi.. or Rishi.. who have issues as well as goodness..
