Excellent point you brought up.
Abhi has a mature relationship with all people around him except with Pragya. He has unspoken expectations, feelings and words only for/to Pragya. In that way they share unique bond.
LOL .. He was there to break Tanu's fast and irking for not getting paid attention by Pragya. That is very Abhi ..😆

@ Raji9 - hello! I'm Maya...sorry I should have introduced myself as there seem to be so many new faces' 😊Used to come on regularly but RL intrudes on my KKB/Abhigya time so I seem to take unintentional sabbaticals...also, it doesn't help that I like to watch episodes before I come here so I if I miss episodes, I stay away till I'm all caught up...I know a lil' loopy
Truly do enjoy reading all of of your opinions/comments (raji9, cerealgirl, mystery1, anamika.vg, poiu123, Kulsum, Nimmy, Mina, Krish...I'm sure I'm missing others) in this thread and elsewhereon IF- thanks! miss hearing from some of the old' members as well...

I do agree with you Raji (hope it's okay to call you that?) the Abhigya relationship is most definitely unique and full of all the quirks/sparks that each one brings into it. I get that playful, childlike, uninhibited relationship they share - I guess both of them approach this relationship with each of their cumulative life experiences where the RS' seems to be tainted with suspicion/distrust and Pragya's seems to be of "being the good child" and fulfilling her "responsibilities.'

end part of saree is pallu and when you r wearing chudidar dress then dupatta is called as aanchal...!

Mina Just re-read your original example - i'm not sure you could use aanchal in that sense. It doesn't 'sound' right - maybe 'true' Hindi speakers cam confirm...I'm a very 'mixed-up child' when it comes to languages so don't hold me to this...😆

Thanks Maya! Same applies to me!

Maybe pallu can refer to loose part of sari whether it is draped over shoulder, pulled across back, or worn up like a hood - while aanchal is more the head-covering part, not really the other senses?

I do feel that its terms of communication, rapport, and one-on-one basic relationship because of knowing each other for a longer time, the way TaBhi interact is more easy going. TaBhi personalities both are strong personalities in terms of going after what they want. They are not as opposite at Abhi and Pragya. Tanu does not shy away from her "rights" and makes it easy for Abhi to know what she wants. That has a certain effect on their relationship. The fact they have easier communication does not mean they have a deep relationship!!

How Abhi and Pragya's relationship has been developed is the questions. In areas where no words are needed, they're perfect. But there's a huge gap in their communication. Actually its that gap that's driving the story! Between the deep unsaid feelings and nok jhoks, there needs to be other ways of interacting like normal people. So far we have not seen that. And the fact they both have deep relationship doesn't mean they don't need better communication.

Anyways, my comments were responding to @vesper's question on how Abhi interacts somewhat easily (or something like that) with Tanu in comparison to Pragya! 😊 Differences in perspectives are always fine!!

Prani (hope you don't mind. I'm Maya btw) you made a great point about the length of the Tabhi relationship and how it helps make their rapport better/more easy going - totally agree with that. What I meant by a more mature relationship is that there is an aspect of 'respect' in their relationship that seems to be missing from the Abhigya relationship - and I don't mean that RS is treating Pragya poorly or anything like that...it's almost like that respect from a parent to a grown up/growing child...😕 don't know if I'm making sense...perhaps if there was a better communication it would come naturally. Thinking about it I feel like that respect may be lacking from both sides...both RS and Pragya.

"It's a hard knock life for us..." 🤣 I continue to be 'laughed with' for my mixed up "syl-la-bles", misuses and mispronunciations - it's all good!

I wish I could be as optimistic as you lovely ladies obviously feel. 😆 I'm really dubious about Tanu's exit this year...

Hi Maya, nice to meet you:)! I'm prani! I've enjoyed your perspectives - like your post above 😊.

bold - I understand better where you're coming from about respect in their relationship. Thanks for explaining! I too find this part of their relationship weak. I feel it's because they started off with no respect for each other. Actually it was dislike without knowing each other. She criticized him for his fake songs of love and he saw her as his worst critic. Also, the story has put them in crisis mode most of the time.

I tried to capture their journey in their relationship. Hope it makes sense!

When he decided to marry her, he went on to hating her as a gold digger/boyfriend stealer to fake plastic person to dadi sucker-upper, boring preacher to an unattractive (if not ugly) lower class partner, to a cheapskate to an avenger (with Suresh as partner in drunk driving) to a plotter of RaBul wedding (when Purab went awol) to a liability to his market value (baby product ad) to a weak person who can't get him out of prison, and lousiest of all as a characterless woman, to an unromantic teacher who can't propose to him to a scaredy cat who can't enjoy swimming. Of course there were things he noticed about her and what she did for him and his family, but they were not good enough to earn his complete respect.

It was the kidnapping track (one of the best tracks for me:) where he started looking at her differently. She was smart and resourceful. She saved his life and proposed to him. That blew his mind. He stopped all the teasing, putting her down, and name calling. But even then, he saw her as demanding person pressuring him for a reply.

From Abhi's perspective, success was defined as money, public acclaim, hero worship, and power. Those who had those, won his respect. That's where I feel it was easy for him to relate and connect with Tanu. They had somewhat similar values.

Better respect came from him when she supported him throughout the Tanu baby track. She was doing so much for him and not making him out to be a bad guy. I think he started feeling bad for her, not really respect, just guilt. From there it turned to love, I guess? When she left, he missed her unconditional support and love. I feel Abhi's journey to love was rocky where respect for Pragya played less of a role and self interest was a bigger factor.

Her feelings evolved slowly from dislike to liking him for his good heart, family values and his child-like reactions and unprocessed reactions. To me, through this Pragya actually grew to respect him much faster and more. I feel her respect for him as a person and as a successful artist came pretty soon. Probably because of her maturity! Her journey was simpler - dislike to like to respect to love. But she's also the kind of person who respects the institution of marriage so respect for her husband is integral to that.

Sorry it's a long response, Maya!! Your post made me think back, I guess 😆. There's definitely an inequity in respect especially from Abhi's side. Sorry if I'm offending anyone! Its partly his nature and partly history and circumstances.

I'm hoping this mugambo track will make him develop the missing respect for her as a person and a wife and what lengths she willing to go through to support him. At any cost to her - that part especially. Or it may back fire completely! Let's see what the script says 😊.

sitting down to watch nov 6th episode finally!

god nikhil is so. this just. i'm very upset. a guy does not have a right to think he's in some kind of relationship with a girl because she slept together once and she's pregnant - and she's rejected him over and over and over again. does he a right to be concerned about the baby? yes. about her? also yes. but all this i'm your one true mate stuff, bothers the heck out of me.

of course tanu has given him moments of encouragement here and there, which complicates it. i tend to forget that.

what a creep abhi, locking someone into the closet like that. NO.

pragya eating things while trolling abhi is my new favourite thing. nuts before, now ice cream. from some disparaging comments i gather there was also some chocolate, but i don't know when that was...
