Abhi smiled as he entered the room where he watched her sitting on the bed, her face hidden beneath the veil.

Finally.

Finally she was his. After Tanu's truth had been exposed he had broken his formal so called' relation with her and kicked her out of his life for good. Aliya had left for Australia after Purab and Bulbul had been married. And here he was standing now, the happiest man on earth. Who wouldn't be? He had a loving wife and a happy family. What more could he ask for?

He took his shoes off as he sat down on the bed and slowly lifted her veil but instead of the magical hypnotising eyes he saw someone else.

"You?" He shrieked, half confused and half embarrassed.

Abhi heard Bulbul laughing from the door along with others and for the first time he felt himself go red.

"Purab? What the hell are you doing?" He asked the bride who was now a heap of laughter on the bed. "Out now! Come on your ruining the bed!"

Abhi gently pushed Purab off and sorted things out before pushing the laughing lot out of the room and locked it. He then realised that Pragya must be outside the room and opened it to face them again.

"Seriously, where is fuggy?" He asked.

Bulbul who was trying to control her laughter set off again and the rest followed.

"Bulbul, this isn't funny! Where is she?"

"Suniye!" He heard the familiar voice from the distant and he leaned to see where she was.

"Di! You ruined it all!" Bulbul moaned.

"Oh come on, you guys teased him more than enough" She appeared and Abhi gently grabbed her by the wrist and hugged her from the side smirking at Bulbul, while Pragya blushed.

"Okay fine, we will leave you to it" Bulbul laughed as they all walked away.

"And don't you dare play any more pranks" Abhi called after her.

He then turned to look at the beauty before him and swooped her in his arms before walking back in his room and locking the door. He gently placed her on the bed before reaching into his pocket for a box. He opened it to pick up a shimmering simple anklet that he tied on her foot before kissing her hand gently. He felt her shiver at the contact as she closed her eyes and hugged him gently.

Abhi held her tightly and was about to speak when he heard soft whimpers coming from her and he instantly asked her what the matter was but she wouldn't say and Abhi realised why she wasn't saying anything.

"It's nothing, I'm just so happy" Pragya smiled up at him.

Abhi sat up straight and cupped her face gently.

"It's that night isn't it?" Abhi asked referring to their previous wedding night which had ended in heart break for her and Abhi now wanted to know exactly what had happened because he couldn't move on without letting her forget everything about their past.

"The past is the past, I don't want-" Pragya tried to avoid the subject knowing she wouldn't be able to control her tears if she had to tell him the painful story that she herself had always tried to avoid.

"I know, I know how it feels but please? If you won't tell me how will I know how to replace everything with memories you can cherish?" Abhi convinced her to speak and so she did narrating the events of the night that had left her with a broken heart yearning for comfort that she hadn't got until then.

As she finished Abhi wiped her tears before kissing her forehead. She was breathing heavily and Abhi realised that even his heart was feeling heavy after hearing exactly how much she had been through. However, on a positive note, he now knew that this had made her pour out her bad memories to be renewed with better ones.

"Fuggy, I am sorry, I am so sorry for everything that happened but today I promise I won't let you shed another tea as long as I live with you"

She hid her face in his chest as he caressed her hair. He realised that the jewellery would be making her uncomfortable and removed each one slowly. He knew that she couldn't sleep in her wedding attire and he didn't want to rush into things so he allowed her to get changed as he did too. She came back wearing her usual white anarkali with her hair down falling gently by her shoulders.

How had he not seen the beauty and innocence in her in the early days of their marriage? Why had he blindly hurt her to such extent? Abhi pushed away the thoughts, after all this was a new beginning for them. Abhi watched her lay down next to him and he did too. She moved closer to him as he dimmed the lights knowing she couldn't sleep in the dark while she held him by the collar gently and nuzzled into his neck. Abhi wrapped his arms around her waist protectively as he kissed her forehead and they both drifted off to sleep.

The next morning Abhi awoke before her to his surprise. She was always up way before him completing her morning prayers and work but she had been tired and so Abhi lay there for a moment observing the pretty sight before him. She looked at peace asleep, so care free. Abhi noticed that she had her leg wrapped around him and he didn't want to disturb her sleep. He was in no mood to let her go anyway so he closed his eyes again.

A few moments later he felt her move before she sat up gently rubbing her eyes. She glanced at the clock realising she had over slept and got up hurriedly.

"Hey, fuggy where are you going?"

"We are late, I haven't made breakfast in the kitchen yet, what will Daadi say?"

"Hey fuggy, calm down" He made her sit down. "It doesn't matter; you know Daadi won't say anything to you. Go freshen up I will make the bed"

Pragya glanced at him in shock. "Rockstar, making the bed?"

"Go" Abhi ushered her to walk to the washroom and she did. "But don't expect me to do this all the time" Abhi teased her as she laughed about to lock the door.

"No need to lock the door anymore, after all we are married, twice too" Abhi winked at her as she blushed and shut the door. Abhi laughed to himself at her naivety.

A while later he knocked on the door and she called him in asking him to pass the towel that she had forgotten outside. Abhi walked in looking away knowing how uncomfortable she felt but she didn't seem to mind like before.

She was still in the bath so the rest of her was hidden from him as usual but her bare shoulders were enough to melt him on the spot. He looked at her mesmerised as she asked him to pass the towel still in her hands and he snapped back to reality.

"Suniye?"

"Oh" Abhi handed her the towel as he began to brush his teeth and she wrapped the towel around her unaware of his eyes on her.

She tied her hair and she felt conscious about herself knowing that the towel only covered her until her thighs. She picked her saree and got changed outside the bathroom as he freshened up and Abhi sighed as she shut the bathroom door. She was so tempting, why did she hide herself underneath them long anarkali's all the time? But then again, he didn't need other men getting other ideas, after all she was only for him to look at, no one else.

As Abhi walked out some time later her saw her struggling to tie the knot of the saree. Without warning he gently reached his arm out and she jumped as his hands brushed against hers. He could feel her breathing deeply as he tied the knot and slowly made her turn to look at him. He watched a droplet from her wet hair roll down her neck and he brushed it gently. Her full plump lips were trembling as she stepped back and felt herself lean against the wardrobe where he had once left her desiring him, craving him. Abhi realised what she was thinking as her eyes began to water but he had promised not to let her cry again and he moved her hair back out of her face as he kissed her forehead. He leant in and brushed his lips against hers gently before capturing them with passion. His hands held her by the waist as he deepened the kiss and she responded with the same urgency. He felt her hands travel towards his hair as she pulled him towards herself.

They pulled away after a long time feeling the need to breathe. Abhi wanted her right there and then but they heard his Daadi call him from down stairs and so she walked out first and he grinned after her smiling at the moment he had just shared with her, their first kiss.

The rest of the day passed slowly for Abhi as he watched Pragya help around the house decorating it for their wedding reception. Abhi could see the happiness in her eyes, one which had not been there before and he was happy it was back. He had taken this happiness away from her once but now he was the one that had given it back and that made him feel better. She wandered from one hallway to another and all he could do was follow after her and watch her from a distance until he could take it no more.

Abhi saw that the servants had disappeared and no family member seemed to be in sight either and he pulled her behind the pillar.

"What are you doing? What is someone sees" She said but he hushed her.

"Let them see"

She moved his hand away from her mouth. "You say that now but you won't when - Daadi!" Pragya shrieked and Abhi moved back turning around to make an excuse but found no one there.

He turned around to see Pragya running away into the kitchen.

"Damn it" He stamped his foot as he had no choice but to go back to his room. He saw a white suit on the bed and picked it up. It had a note next to it.

Please wear this tonight, white suits you.

Abhi smiled before leaving to get changed. He had also brought her something and so he left the package on the bed where she could see it.

Pragya walked in some time later and her eyes instantly fell on the wrapped package. She unwrapped it and found it was a glistening mint coloured saree. The back was low cut but apart from that it was exactly something she would have worn and she smiled at the note he had left too.

Wear this tonight, you will look sexy :)

Pragya blushed as she went to get changed smiling to herself.

When she walked back out she saw him at the dressing table spraying him with perfume. She slowly walked out as he turned around and he stopped as he admired the beauty before him. Her lips were coloured red, her cheeks a shade of pink. Her eyes had increased power as he met her gaze. He walked towards her slowly and took her hand. He so wanted to kiss her there and then but they still needed to meet guests and so he had to control himself but the thought of the night excited him as he fantasized about her.

"You look beautiful fuggy" He spoke.

"You look handsome too" She brushed his collars as he held her hand and led her out of the room.

As they walked down the stairs, his arms moved to her waist as the guests applauded them.

The rest of the evening passed calmly and Abhi smiled as the party came to an end. It was one day he would remember but the night he was certain would be bliss as he watched her enter their room. He smiled to himself as he skipped up the stairs before wishing the family a good night.

He entered the room and locked the door to find her in her night clothes already. She took off her bangles and placed them on the table before feeling him hug her from behind nuzzling into her neck and trailing his hand across her shoulder. She leaned back further onto him as he picked her up and gently laid her on the bed. He placed gentle kisses all the way from her fore head to neck. He undid the back of her blouse assuring she was comfortable. He continued to trail kisses down her body before he felt her shiver at the unusual touch. He went back to her neck and kissed her lips gently.

He felt her hands trail to his shirt and unbutton it slowly. He threw it off to the side and before they knew it they were both bare as he made love to her, leading her down a path she had never been to.

He lay breathless next to her as he pulled her close to him and she wrapped herself around him. It was night full of bliss and one neither of them would forget. Pragya hugged him tight as she fell asleep and he held her protectively in his arms.

They had craved each other's affection for so long, and at last their wishes had been fulfilled.
