Yeah Trishh, he knows how shy she is so maybe taking things extra slow. But him wanting to leave and not even look at her just seemed out of character for him. He's a very in your face character, never seen him slink off or shy away. He would boldly stare at her even if he didn't touch.

Looks like they weren't consistent with him or Pragya (nonchalance at seeing Abhi hugging Tanu) in this.

aaack this balaji!!! i just discovered a fun new sideship but then balaji made them dance to aaj phir thum pe and it's like ummm nooo that is for abhigya kthxbai. silly production house and its repeats. i mean they could've waited longer than month to reuse that song naa! like do they not realize these shows have overlapping fans/viewers!!

hmm true! even during the black dress thing abhi kept on staring. maybe he realized he was being a jerk lately to her during the mms thing and decided to give her break and respect her wishes and stuff

dee, bear with me if this is convoluted and nonsensical. so my read on this is that it's supposed to show abhi's "good at the core" aspect. as in, he plays at being a bad boy, but when it comes to "precious people" like pragya, he's the good, decent, respectful boy raised by daadi. that boy would never dream of looking at pragya in that situation, knowing that the view is not really on offer for him. hence the exaggerated eye covering and the deliberate closing the door so no one else accidentally gets a peek.

this is the CVs throwing a bone to the audience's internalised expectations of what constitutes proper behaviour. their characterization is never going to be consistent on this front because at different times they'll emphasize different aspects of abhi. so sometimes we'll see besharam, pushing the boundaries abhi. and other times - we'll see bashful little boy abhi.

does that make sense even if it's not convincing?
