This is unbelievably regressive. Makes you wonder which era you are in. In the days when atrocity towards women is increasing , here we have a serial where the protagonist cannot defend herself. She is educated, was a professor for crying out loud and she is putting up with this shit.
The makers are portraying Abhi as a psycho. He is only a couple of steps away from being admitted to a mental asylum for behaving this way.

I used to really like this series, not anymore . I feel like am subscribing to a bundle of regressive shit.

yes. Whatever the reason for his behaviour, whether he has a plan? a twist ? its not good enough. And she is the culprit. Allowing a man to rule to this extend . Yuks. sorry. allowing a weak stupid man to rule ... she is a fool.
I have never beeen so angry to watch a show. Nay I don't watch, just read.

Agree... There is no difference between saubhagyavati bhava(Sriti jha old serial) and KB. I think Sriti has abusive husbands only onscreen... That serial was full of domestic violence. I agree that Abhi is not bad as that hero but still he is also torturing her...

Wonder why Shabir and Shriti consented to act in this rotten show. Have stopped watching the show and only read comments here to find out if there is any improvement in the story line but sadly no progress whatsoever.

Fantastic post, you took the words right out of my mouth. I actually made a post on these lines as well "no logic as always"

EK is known for starting shows with new pairings and "captivating" concept but after a few weeks (if at that) it turns into a run of the mill regressive saas bahu saga of lies, deception, with an innocent/victimized heroine and a love story full of miscommunication, assumptions and confusion. No one bothers to ask the right questions or speak up - rather they let fate (read vamps) handle matters while they just cry buckets and look wistfully at their love. Taking matters into their own hands, solving matters is a completely alien concept.

Vamps on screen actually look pretty cool - who wouldn't want to dress well, look nice, have a brain - put it to use and hatch plans to get what they want AND get away with it for the longest time. If only real life worked like that.

What i fail to understand is how does the trp system work? Ive seen shows (not just zee) where the storyline is utterly insane, convoluted and meaningless but the hows stay on air and then there are shows that are not quite as crazy but one track does not resonate well with the audience and boom show gets pulled. How does this make any sense?
