can't believe last week's eps got such high TRP!! great for our show but it means that i know nothing, because i didn't think they were worth watching and i assumed people wouldn't like them. i guess people who don't have forums just kept tuning in to find out if pragya got her proof!!

@bold: yes I felt the same emotions; to me when he said that, he likened her to a wanton woman/charlatan so to speak- in the dirtiest of terms, i want sex with you, he got in first but i want to see what made you leave me and go to him. In his mind, I think he feels he rejected her thus far and so she went to someone else so he's now thinking ok, let me go to her and see if she can reject me. And when she does, he says- you know girls would die to get so close to me and you...his ego was definitely hurt. Like I said before, she was his possession to do as he pleased, he just never cashed in his check of wanting to exert his husband rights. He was solidly rejected and I don't think he could in that state handle it.

Yes, it's a very complicated equation. He doesn't want her(yet or totally) but can;t bear anyone else having her. ALiyah stoked the fire, he's never said things like this before so either he went off what she said or he really stated what he felt. If he did state what he felt, then ok. What he wanted was her and he felt that she wasn't his physically and he was finding it hard on several levels- physically and emotionally. Ego stoked the entire confrontation. I don't think ALiyah was ever intending the scene that took place. This could have been worse, he could have forced himself on her.

He's always been physical with her and I do think this is because she isn't vocal, to me, it's like he literally needs to shake her to get anything out of her. Not that it makes it ok.

To me this scene was the culmination of what he has been secretly feeling on many levels- physically he wants her though he doesnt admit it.
emotionally he cares, doesn;t want to admit it
He's possessive, doesn;t want to admit it.
All these months of eyesex and she betrayed him and it hurt like hell and he doesn;t want to admit that either.

@bold - yes yes yes! oh you've put it perfectly, the wanton line, exactly what i was thinking. and the possession to do with as he pleased - yes i rather think that describes his attitude well!

ego at the heart of it...i like that, i think it helps me make sense of the scene a bit better to frame it like that, thank you.

aaliya would never in a million years think that her words would lead to that 😆 she just has no idea what's in her brother's heart, sadly 😡

really good point that it's almost like he needs to shake her - or at least provoke her - to get anything out of her. pragya babe i know vulnerability hurts but you would be so much better off if you opened up all those angry, sad, hopeful, mixed up feelings to him!! uff this is my ultimate dream for them, eventually they will share a bond so strong and be an amazing team (like as life partners), because they connect emotionally...but this is the version of them in my head, not the show :P

@bold and underline - yes absolutely!! the culmination of his hidden feelings on all levels. as tia had warned us, one day he would explode...and yes i guess with alcohol as the influence, it took this ugly turn...

and ok i take your point in the last line but something about feeling betrayed about eyesex just makes me want to laugh and laugh 🤣...will want to drabble this in the future i think XD
