How deep is the Romance?

In every story - there should be strong, well thought out characters who we can empathise with and identify with. Here i don't - Abhi is such a shallow character - they have not been able to instill any depth and conviction in him. He is a superstar based on pure luck and poor taste of public??? CVS needs to focus on his character and bring out the strengths - we should be able to root for him/ sympathize with him/ admire him.. Same with Pragya - they started well - but these days - she is behaving erratic with no backbone. Either she has fallen in love with him (then show that??
) - this accepting abuses, accepting another women - going out of the way to actually facilitate it!!?? all in the name of saving Dadi/ Mom from emotional pain is too much to swallow.. And like many people have said - what happened to her job? her missing backbone? her common sense?
I loved this serial in the beginning but now i just read the updates on IF.. in the hope that they bring on a meaningful twist (suggestion - Abhi's career having problems, Tanu deserts him, Alia learns her lesson when they have less money and Pragya standing with him and in the process he becomes a better singer, finds himself and becomes successful and happy again)..

I am a silent reader most of the time - but this love story is going nowhere for me

I don't think Abhi-Pragya romance is even started yet. Pragya is not in love and Abhi has no idea what is love or even interested in falling in love with Pragya!

is there even a love story?
all I see is high-voltage drama on Rabul
torture...humiliation...insult...taunts from Abhigya...the disgusting part is the story of other women in abhi's life and pragya accepting it...making a mockery out of sacred marriage and vows

Pyaar hua hi nahi...yehi toh saari problem hai 😆😆😆

But ho jayega...one day ☺️

Btw, Abhi can sing well as they showed on his wedding??? Love love happy love is just time pass 😆 [Btw, i actually started humming the rap song subconsciously after that Pragya being drunk track 😆]. When he falls in love or when and if his career comes crashing down...maybe then he focuses on his singing more than coming up with random songs 😃

Abhi of course can sing well and is a wonderful performer too. He can't have the whole country swooning over him without having that charm. Like Saara said, he did sing a soulful song which even Pragya liked when he sang with an actress on his wedding. He also sang a nice song (sadly for Tannu) during a concert. Happy Love is just a meaningless but hip song that's actually famous.. like Honey Singh's songs (sorry no offense to his fans, some of his songs are peppy/catchy but not great on meaning).

@tia...honey singh songs are perfect for night parties...its the same for abhi's "Happy Love"...its perfect for night parties...its basically explains the colourful life he is living...once he realise the true meaning of love...relationships...life...pain...he will start making soulful songs...but I guess that will happen after he looses his riches...and there is only 3 people who will support him...dadi...purab...pragya...

Abhi and Pragya were total strangers when they were thrown together in marriage ... well, except for the few times they met accidentally, etc. Both had their own lives and personalities which are also totally different...

Since it wasn't a case of love at first sight, it will definitely take some time for them to fall in love. I admit it's moving slowly, but I'm sure we'll eventually see them in love!!!... slow but sure 😉!!!!

we all don't mind the love process going slow and steady...that how it should be especially in arranged marriages...
but its time to bring in some respect...some genuine feelings in the marriage...
how long will we tolerate disrespect of marriage institution

That's what I meant about Honey Singh.
Even I have danced on some of Honey Singh's dance... I would not call myself a fan of his.. but do hum his songs sometimes.. lol.

The creatives are just trying to cash on every stage of Abhi-Pragya relationship.
With Shabbir and Sriti being such wonderful actors, their romance/love/angst would be great to watch too. But they are not taking them there yet since they figured out they can even have this hate-pain phase for sometime and cash on it ...so that they still can drag the love story before they play the trump card.
