Will Tanu's (fake) pregnancy lead to Abhi's downfall? (rd 1st post)

Leaving for a few weeks but wanted to do one last (silly) poll.

Many have surmised that Tanu will fake her pregnancy (instead of being really pregnant), and this pregnancy news will reach all the Mehras and Aroras. After seeing the SBS/SBB scenes and hearing Taliya's desperation for a new plan, I would not be surprised.

It has also been speculated, however, that this pregnancy will lead to exposure of Abhi's lies and start his downfall. Daadi will be very upset, perhaps his fans will be upset, etc. Do you guys agree?

I initially thought yes, but I sometimes wonder if Abhi will ever truly face consequences for his part in this (Aliya's suffering doesn't count). Anytime I guess one way, something else happens.

So what do you guys think?

Some things that could happen and are often hinted.

Abhi will be in financial trouble (courtesy Taiji).

Abhi will fall from grace (Tanu fakes pregnancy and it gets out to the media).

Abhi has kind of fallen in love with Pragya, when Tannu announces pregnancy (and she too although they are no where near confession- he will face her disgust and himself feel shit about it).

Daadi would be super pissed (may leave him) also knowing all the truth about his marriage to Pragya.

If all of the above happens together, it would be quite a situation for Abhi to recover from!

I answered no.
I'm not disputing that Abhi will face hardships, nor am I disputing that he will have to face some sort of monetary downfall or bankruptcy.

But I dont think Tannu's pregnancy will be the result of that! I think the purpose of Tannu's pregnancy is to make Abhi realise what a villain Tannu is and how deep is feelings for Pragya are.

If any downfall in any financial/social way is to come - it may come after the pregnancy so of course Pragya can save and support him and achieve Mahaan Heroine status (based on Ekta's trends LOL)

Oh Lkb - safe journey and enjoy whatever it is will keep you from the forum for a few weeks. I for one will miss your posts! :-)

I have answered NO. Simple reason being the showmakers cannot kill their cashcow. The Cashcow scenario is present one where people just plug in the hope that "it is the day" a ray of hope can be seen when Abhi's downfall starts, just for the sake of having poetic justice from Abhi for the sake of Pragya.

Under these circumstances, the show makers will stretch the Abhi atrocious and misguided behaviour and Pragya's oppressed and depressed state, as long as possible until TRP falls..
