"Zindagi se rishta nibhana mushkil ho gaya hai"

Pragya is worst case of badly written female character. Even the 18th Century Pamela Andrews the Maid Servant in Richardson's Epistolatory Novel (the earliest Novel in Restoration times of literature) had more spine in the name of Virtue Upholding than the Modern 21st Century Pragya the Professor.

Do I not have Indian examples of exemplary ordinary female characters that refuse to be played unless they are getting their part of the bargain? Well, we have...but when discussing creative elements that called ridicule and mockery, I have only Richardson's characters coming to my mind. 😆

So I was saying even Pamela was better in her "Virtue Rewarded" paradigm than Pragya's conflict of "Zindagi se rishta nibhana mushkil ho gaya hai". She is one big hypocrite complaining to God saying like that while sleeping in the balcony. Didn't she come back to the hell hole after she had her "Mother Rewarded" Act all pulled up nicely. So why the tears?! Why not have some self-respect and stop shedding those tears.

Advice to Pragya:

Be Bindaas, even if you have to choose a silly life. Please don't show your sorry and teary face ever again. You chose that life for yourself and you better live it with a smile. Showing that sorry face of yours, you spoil the comedy that we can enjoy from watching the lampoon character of your husbands.😳

Aww, let us give a break to the girl! She has had a horrible day. Her morning started with running to Pune/Mandir, shocked to see RaBul ready to get married, and then, Abhi shouted on her, threatened to end their marriage right there, so much confusion over truth, and then comes back to more shoutings from Abhi and his hatred dialogues, Taaliayh throw her out, and her Maa is in hospital, she comes back to Abhi's home and slaps Tannu, and then the whole surgery issue, and then she is tensed over how to keep the secret of her marriage, Abhi's grizzly bear hug, and now more of Abhi's tantrums...

PHEW!

If I had to go through so much in one day, I don't know what I will do! Pull my hair, cry, go crazy... ... or may even kill someone.

I agree with Tia. I would probably totally break down completely with all those things happening all in one day. Yeah, her character is stupid at times and well nothing really makes sense. But it's a bit cruel to expect her to keep on smiling with all of these thins happening

But then you forget, we are not Pragya. We are Tia or SD or Samarth Pragya is Pragya. She is capable of living a lie everyday. If she can handle that stress, why should I bother. And sympathy to Pragya's situation...No way.

I am talking about myself. If Pragya accepted what she wanted, got what she wanted, her dilemma is no dilemma to me. her conflict is pointless to me. In my opinion and wishful thinking there are n number of ways in which what she did and underwent could have been done much better, keeping her self respect and pride in tact. She need not beg and hug and shed tears. But Pragya chose to do a "Main kahan jaaongi" Act before husband and slapping Tanu saying I am still the legal wife. So what more she wants ? She wants to be a dorrmat before husband and lioness before Tanu and Loving Daughter, Sister before mother and World. She is getting all that she wants !!! So stop the tears will you. You happily slept in Balcony instead of going and telling Dadi how duped you are in this marriage before. Now you repeat the scene again. What are you expecting...not to see a deja vu of that scene before.

And lastly if I am watching Pragya's tortuous face amidst lot of other potential entertaining comedy, I need her to stop crying and end that melodrama. There is a reason, you came back to Abhi's life even after being thrown out, so you better get a grip and live happy being there else, just go to some Women Help Cell. You are after all the legal wife, you have all rights to fire anyone. Just spare us your drama of "Zindagi se Rishta Nibhaana Mushkil ho gaya". At the present Vantage point, almost every other character than Pragya is acceptable and more deserving to watch their farce from Indian TV World's Top rated show. Haque hai mera entertainment ke liye. For ex: the lampoon act of Pragya's husband was hilarious. Hell! See how happy you have made him by going to the Balcony. There you go, you win another feather in your crown for being Savitri of your husband !!! 😆

Maa's life ya horrible husband's balcony! Lol.
See I was mad at Pragya when she decided to stay in the marriage to begin with. But now I have come to realize that her Maa is really fragile and she is very attached to her. So I feel handicapped to accuse her of anything. I just hope now that Abhi realizes the truth somehow and frees her of this burden. She is not going to do anything on her own. Her hands are tied her Maa's heart condition.

I feel for pragya & wish i could knock abhi's head, tie him up & make him see how unreasonable he is. Granted pragya should have taken the matter to dadi the 1st time she was relegated to the balcony but now that she has come to care for dadi and given that her character always puts her loved ones ahead of herself, she didn't have a choice about returning to this hell hole of a marriage. I'm surprised you can't see her helplessness & sympathise with her despair.

i hate how abhi is treating her & hope the writers start redeeming abhi's character that reeks of neanderthalism.

i agree with u..also, maa has always been an ideal candidate for heart attack, what with theover weight, stress ful personality...even then pragya always used 2 stand for herself...right from the initial epi...a sorted girl...she actuallly told her groom on varmala stage bye bye n gave him a piece of her mind...sarla ki health tab bhi fragile ho sakti thi...ofourse it is all super convenient for the makers...first grab the eyeballs..nayi soch heroine of star plus n then bring her bk 2 the doormat heroine of star plus to get to no 1 in the trp game...bah

If I am not wrong sarla had a major relapse healthwise AFTER pragya suresh 's broken marriage. That was her 2nd rishta that had broken. Initially she was not that fragile. Also when pragya had refused to marry abh sarla had behaved like a deranged person. Its disturbing and scary to see ur mother like this. Pragya s kahan jaoon was not the question of a bhartiya nari being thrown out of her husband s home like she has nowhere to go if her sasural rejects her. It was actually a question. Becoz she has nowhere to go. Wherever she goes Sarla will get to know the truth of her relationship and suffer a heart attack. Becoz sarla has always been saying I am fine till u are happy with abhi. its kind of emotional blackmail. Which daughter will choose to play with get mom s life for a 2 mnth fraud marriage ?

Hence she finds life difficult here. Does she have no right to complain even to herself ? She cannot complain to any1 else. And for talking to her husband... She admitted he thinks thru other ppls minds and makes an innocent person Suffer. Talking to him is like bhains ke aage been bajana. Having said that I find abhi so entertaining and watchable. His I have my bed bk was fab.

Agreed Tia. She has to go through so much in one single day. I also can't imagine what I would have done if such things happened with me in a single day.
