I have noticed that since she has fallen in love with Purab, she has worn more salwar suits - I could be wrong, will have to see in the next few episodes.

Abhi is definitely not the worst character I've seen on TV..I have seen much more aggressiveness, violent streaks and MCP-ness from other male leads of Ekta Soaps and Gul Khan shows.Yeah I like watching Abhi because atleast Shabbir is charismatic and supremely talented as an actor than some of the other wooden planks essaying hot headed arrogant business tycoons on telly *cough*

Why just Ekta Shows? I see the same pattern in hit shows like Geet,IPK,IPK2,Qubool hai,Madhubala etc etc.Atleast Ekta was original once back in 2004-2005 😆

ya i forgot gul ..we can add her also in the list..but my current fav pair is from gul show..only reason that hero is the one who try to work their relationship..heroine has big ego..some different from all the gul heros..

Apparently the TRP audiences loved it all and lapped it up and brought the show up to No 2!!

Like I said elsewhere, I've been scratching my head in deepening wonderment at the rising Trps. And, as someone here has already said, the show is as regressive as any of older Ekta shows. Nothing has changed, not even the voluminous salwars (thank god that it is a suit and not a sari).
Never understood why the hero's bedroom always has to be decorated with his own photos in differing sizes. Can anyone explain that??

Shabbir was one of the main reasons for me to watch the show after Kayamath. Sad to say that his characterization is very inconsistent at best and annoying at worst. One minute he's all over Tanu like a rash and in the next, he's staring deeply into Pragya's eyes as though he was on the verge of having an epiphany!!

And his clowning isn't very convincing. I like him in a more serious and brooding mode.

The ladies are all very extreme in nature, character and behaviour. Too goody goody or too baddy baddy. Yes! It an out and out EK show. Koi Shaque?😆

I know it's your right to complain and vent, but Oh gosh! ... enough with the complaints now... it's becoming boring now!!!!!! It's an Indian TV show ... what can you expect 😈!!! It's amazing how much we love to express our disgust at the show, yet we find ourselves still here!!!

Me? if I don't like a show, I use my remote instead of working up a lather and wasting my precious energy!

Girls get eve teased, men rape, girls get molested, women get mistreated, men think they can get away
All because no one wanted to waste their precious energy and stand up for them!

Post maker I applaud your post!

I was somehow able to tolerate the show but after the puneet fiasco I left all hope on this show..Ekta's shows are torture for viewers for sure😭

Most disturbing is Abhi telling Pragya in many of the episodes that he will punch her. Even if it's jokingly, I find that dialogue really appalling and distasteful.

I agree! His jokes and clowning are getting wearisome.

If you guys think that Abhi is cruel, then its a win for Shabbir, because he is supposed to be cruel to pragya, and he should appear cruel to us until he finds out real truth behind the story...AND it's just a serial!

This ability to react is what keeps up the hope for the viewer (consumer) and the show producer (producer). Its an important TRP measure and also its social parametric guage of what is acceptable.

It's also the viewer/audience relief to his/her conscience that condemnable actions were condemned and laudable actions were extolled.

Praise can be taken manifold, why not disparagement in the same token?

I dont think same poster has gone on repetitive condemnation over the forum making same posts. Based on varied tolerance levels, posters have come forward expressing their disbelief.
