Aliyah: Bhai what's wrong with you? That behenji came and said so much but you didn't say a thing.

Abhi was still reeling at all the accusations Pragya just threw at him on top of that slap. He never saw her so angry. But he is no less. How dare she try to hide her brother's crimes?

Abhi spits out: That's how these middle class people are. First they do wrong, then they try to blame others. We know our fight is with Pragya only, so why would we bring her family into it? You guys didn't plan anything right?

Aliyah and Tanu quickly look at each other with petrified expressions. Abhi was in full fury. If he found out they planned all this who knows what will happen.

Tanu: of course not Abhi. How can you even think that? Do we look so cheap?

Aliyah: yea bhai, that behenji is just trying to confuse you.

Abhi: ok good. Don't worry I'll take revenge for that slap. Just wait and watch.

Abhi had been avoiding his bedroom all day. He didn't want to see that Chashmish at all. She was the cause of all his problems. He really just wanted to throw her out but Dadi would never forgive him. She was probably waiting for him to come so she can launch into another one of her boring lectures. But he was ready to give her a piece of his own mind.

Abhi quickly enters his bedroom to face Pragya but he doesn't see anyone around. Where is she? he wondered. He checked the bathroom and the changing room but both were empty. Finally he went out to the balcony. There she was soundly sleeping on the floor. Good, Abhi thought, she probably went to sleep scared I would do something to her. Now I won't have to talk to her. So why was he upset? Why did it bother him that he couldn't fight with her? Abhi couldn't understand his feelings. He had to get away, away from Chashmish and all the confusing feelings she evoked. As he passed by Aliyah's room he heard Tanu. What is Tanu still doing here?

Tanu: what are we going to do? If Abhi finds out we lied to him, then...

Aliyah: relax Tanu, geez. He's not going to find out, unless you keep acting like a dimwit.

Tanu: how can I relax? Abhi will throw me out of his life. You should be worried too. If he finds out we were that ones that called Puneet intending to exploit him he will not leave us.

Abhi couldn't believe what he was hearing. The love of his life and his own blood lied to him! Chasmish was right all along. It was all their plan. How could this happen? They knew he didn't want to involve their families, he made himself clear from the beginning. And because of them he beat up that poor boy. It was partly his fault. He couldn't see beyond what he wanted to see. Slowly Abhi walks away, still in shock. How would he face Chashmish now?
