Abhi, Purab and The Truth

While we know how the truth would shatter AbhiGya and even Aaliyah, what would happen if and when Purab comes to discover the real circumstances of his best friend's wedding? Because technically Abhi (on Aaliyah & Tannu's insistence) married the girl Purab was supposedly in love with. It was just because of a case of mistaken identity that Aaliyah ends up taking Pragya to be that girl. So it might as well have been Bulbul in Pragya's place (not that it would have happened but still). So how do you think Purab would react on knowing that his best friend was conspiring to marry the girl he loved just to prove some point, when rather he should have talked things through with him given their close relationship? Would he ever forgive him? Because from Purab's side this was the ultimate betrayal by his best friend. Would we see another more stronger side of Purab after this?

And also if Bulbul ever discovered this truth would she again hold herself responsible for the state her sister is in? She at least guessed rightly when the rishta came that it could be a chaal.

But I think here Abhi just did not married her because she is Purab GF. When he came to know being Purabs GF her ridhta came to him that made him think that she does not love Purab because if she truly loved Purab she would not have sent her proposal to him so he decided to show Purab her real face by marrying her.

Would Bulbul have agreed to marry Abhi? No. The point was to test if the girl loved Purab or not and whether the girl was just hanging around for money. See, Pragya also had a chance to say No to Abhi for good. If she did, Abhi would have thought she really loves Purab. He considered such a possibility when Pragya refused initially and to make it clear even went to her house! But it turned out that Pragya wore a golden necklace sent by Abhi's daadi and suddenly changed sides! It was not like Abhi forced the girl in any way. It was a regular proposal through families. Purab would only be happy in the end that Abhi saved him from marrying a money digger and went to such great heights to save him from a cheater.😆

Great point zephyr, marrying his best friend's love really is an ultimate betrayal. However, I think Purab simply loves Abhi too much to let this get between them, especially since it turned out to be the wrong girl and if Abhi explains that he was trying to "save" him from a gold digger. It would be shocking to find out your best friend would be willing to do this to you, but in the specific case of Purab and Abhi I don't think it will be dealbreaker for their lifelong friendship. If Abhi is able to make Purab understand that he did this because he felt betrayed as vivkriti explains, Purab will probably accept that.

Of course you are right, any sensible person would prefer to talk about problems instead of doing crazy things like getting married in a week. It would also be very hard for any sensible person to trust a friend again after a stunt like Abhi pulled on Purab. But Purab is a serial character, not a sensible person, and I think the bromance will win the day...

And yeah, Bulbul totally would blame herself!

Idk abt purabs reaction bt sisters both will b shattered ...prags bcoz she will see d trap that she has fallen without any fault of hers nd d betrayl :'( nd bulbul for bieng d reason why her sister is suffering so much or going to suffer:'( it will take a long time for Abhi to win prags trust after this stunt comes out!

As far as Bulbul goes, poor girl would be shattered if she figures out how Pragya is suffering in this marriage because of her affair with Purab.

But, I feel the matter will not go to Bulbul. Abhi and Pragya will keep this issue between themselves. And Pragya will not let Bulbul suffer.

Abhi will also suffer extreme guilt later on. I hope they don't show it that he will start caring for Pragya because he betrayed her this way.
