Hey everyone! How's you all! :D Hope you all are well! Sorry about having to cut off the update yesterday as I had a test. Well here's today's update!
Recap: Niyati slapping Agni, Niyati talking to Shaurya and telling that this is enough and that what they were doing was wrong, Shaurya agreeing, saying they would have to tell everyone the truth, Antra giving the keys to Niyati saying the whole house's responsibility was in the hands of the bahu. Vasu telling her it was the khandan's izat and Niyati is confused as she knows they will be shattered when they find out the truth. Niyati telling Shaurya he has tot ell his family the truth about their marriage. Rajlakshmi saying that in a while, the whole truth will be out.
Highlights
- Dadi demands to know if Shaurya and Niyati's marriage is fake based on Raj's accusations but Vikram comes and stops her saying, they should not question the girl who gave up everything to save this house's status
- Vikram says that Shaurya and Niyati will go to America together after the ceremonies to bring Niyati into the house officially as their bahu.
- Niyati sees Shaurya looking worried and confesses to her Dadi's portrait that she can't see Shaurya in this state and to please help him
- The ceremonies take place as one by one, the ladies of the house come and put the tikka on the couple's head and perform the rasams. Niyati remembers her marriage to Shaurya.
- Niyati and Shaurya perform a very old tradition when Shaurya has to top plates of rotis on the floor while Niyati has to pick them up without making a noise, signifying a strong bond in the house.
- Raj is outside laughing at Niyati and saying the game has just begun.
Update
Vasu is completely distraught and asks Niyati and Shaurya to tell her if what Rajlakshmi was saying is true. She then commands them to tell Raj straight in her face that their shaadi was not a farce but that it was done out of true love for each other. Vasu pinpoints Niyati and tells her to tell Raj that what she is saying is all a lie. Niyati is just about to reply when suddenly Vikram's voice booms across the house and he tells her to wait. He comes down the stairs and demands to know what is happening. Vasu explains to him that Raj had said that this wedding was a big lie.
Vikram lashes out asking Vasu that she was questioning the marriage because of Raj's words? He insults Raj saying that she doesn't even say the truth to herself and that she had been hiding such a big truth for so long and that she had lied to everyone, including her son. Vikram then turns to Niyati and says Niyati could never do something like that and that even if God came and told him the marriage was all a lie, Vikram would never believe him. He praises her and says that the person who gave up everything to save this family's status should not be asked any questions. Vikram once again accuses Raj and then states clearly that he does not believe anything Raj says. He then states that he doesn't want anyone bugging or questioning Niyati, as she was the kulvaddhu of the house as well as its izat. Raj says sorry and Vikram tells Shaurya that Niyati was now his responsibility.
He says that they will bring her in properly as their kulvaddhu by performing the ceremonies and Antra says she was waiting for this. Shaurya tries to make Vikram listen but Vikram misunderstands him, saying he knows Shaurya wanted to go to America and he would be allowed to go once the ceremonies and all were finished and that Niyati could go with him.
Shaurya is pacing around, remembering his promise to take Niyati out of this mess. Niyati looks down at him sadly from above as he continues to look tensed. Niyati breaks down and runs from there as she can't see Shaurya in this state. Niyati goes to the portrait of her Dadisa and breaks down confessing that she doesn't know what to do as she can't bear to see Shaurya in this state and that she couldn't bear seeing him in so much pain. She says she has never felt this weak before and she asks her Dadisa to help her get through this.
Antra and Carol (aww she looks soo pretty) are dressing Niyati up with the kulvaddhu song playing in the background. Antra prays that nobody casts their evil eye on Niyati (aww she looks pretty but I wish they had left her hair down)

Dadi puts the tikka on both Shaurya and Niyati's forehead and performs the ceremonies in front of the whole family. Antra then comes and performs the ceremonies as well. Rajveer's mother is next as she comes with a big smile and performs the rituals. Chachi ji comes next and does the rituals while Niyati remembers Shaurya telling her they need to get married for her Dadisa's sake.
Niyati and Shaurya enter the house as she remembers how they got married. She remembers how they hadn't really gotten married as she applied the sindoor on her maang herself and had put the garlands on themselves as well as the mangalsutra. As the ceremonies continue, Niyati continues to look sadly at Shaurya as she imprints her handprints on the wall and then pray to bhagwaan.

Antra tells Niyati about the family's oldest tradition which says that the pati will take care of the house and that the patni would take care of them. She explains to them what to do and warns Niyati that when she picks up the plate of rotis (part of the ritual) she shouldn't make any noise or else it is said that troubles will come in the house (I already know what will happen L L ) Vikram brings Shaurya the sword he will use to carry out the ritual. As he taps the plates of rotis one by one, Niyati picks them up as told to do so (HEY actually no lol, I thought one would make a noise, but she picked them all up successfully! Seee they meant to bee *sing* for now….until agni jyoti jyoti agni swaaahhhhaaa *grins*) Antra and the family congratulate the couple and give them their blessings. Vikram says to Niyati that she was the khandaan's true kulvaddhu.
Raj is outside…..laughing and pointing like a maniac…..(I'm scared!!!!!) She continues to laugh crazily and eerily begins to sing the kulvaddhu song as a fire rages on in front of her. She then says outloud that Niyati thought she had wanted to expose the fake marriage but Raj said that the game would have been over and it has only just begun.
Pretty good episode, but there wasn't much Shaurya-Niyati scenes alone, and no Agni again L I'd say 8.5/10 J Just want to know if you all are ok with this style of update and if you would like me to start doing some comments throughout as well J Enjoy!
