Sandiip Sikcand, the creative head of Sony, is on a hunting spree and the latest star that he has attracted to Sony from Ekta Kapoor is none other than the main protagonist of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Cezanne Khan. He has been offered by Sony a whopping Rs 70,000 per day. But Cezanne is cautious and not disclosing the amount, saying, ' Its too early to talk about future projects. And I am certainly not disclosing any figures.' Other actors who are likely to move away from Balaji or expected to work for Sony include Renuka Sahane, Iqbal Khan, Aamna Shariff and Smriti Irani. All of them are being offered the double of amount that they have been getting from Balaji Telefilms. Aamna Shariff has been offered Rs 65,000, instead of Rs 35,000, which she has been getting from Balaji. Similarly, Iqbal Khan's price has been increased to Rs 70,000 per day from Rs 40,000. Presently, Sony is on a transformation spree and preparing itself to give a competition to Ekta Kapoor by joining the soap bandwagon. Earlier its reliance was more on reality shows and game shows, but with the coming of Sandiip Sikcand soap era has become a certainty. However, Sandiip Sikcand refused to be drawn in money matters saying it to be a negotiable matter with the production house.
