Chapter 8 Review:
Nidhi has fled the scene after seeing Mallika! Her thought and words to Anji show how badly she was hurt in the past, not only by Mallika's taunts, jibes and manipulations but also by his constant blind support of the said friend. So she ruthlessly curses herself for giving in to her desire of spending sometime with him, time alone without his friend hanging around as guardian. Felt very bad for her, her distrust of him comes across so well. Now she clearly expects him to forget all about her, her love and hang around with his friend. Will she ever be able to trust him? And she even calls herself a coward for running away rather than face her nemesis... that clearly shows how much the past affected her self-confidence when it came to Mallika. And it also shows that in spite of the hard exterior she projects deep inside she is basically the same girl whose pride is deeply wounded, is in tatters and she is still nursing it in private. She is cursing herself for following her heart rather than listening to her rational mind that warned her to keep away from him! Once again she decides to leave rather than face more heart break!
The phone call of the elves... Armaan is a one interesting guy! So, they are going ahead with their plan.. in fact coming to think of it that plan has been made just in the nick of time... this time Destiny has given a helping hand! Armaan's words clearly show his dislike for what Mallika did the last time. Atleast he was aware of the going ons... maybe because he has always been abreast of the gossip in KGH unlike Ashutosh who in a few matters has been like a crane with its head stuck in the sand. And this time seems like Armaan has high hopes from the gossip! And that phone call to Ashu was just in time... just when he thought Nidhi would break away and flee, the elves come to the rescue! And he knows and acknowledges it!
But wait! What do we have here... a pensive Ashutosh! Wow, for a change he is thinking of Nidhi and not Mallika! Seems as if he has been listening to Nidhi more carefully now, studying her more... Her abrupt departure made him remember her parting words from two years back when she blamed Mallika of using underhanded tactics and him believing and supporting Mallika... now he is connecting that to the manner in which Nidhi fled, seeing Nidhi's insecurity and lack of faith in him for himself! Good... Good! Looks like after seeing Nidhi, knowing about her life in the last two years, her saying she was a fool to choose her failed love rather than a cushy life, her struggle to stand on her feet and finally her mocking herself with the immature word he is finally cognizant of her state of mind! maybe he will be more vigilant towards Mallika and her words and actions and thus be able to support Nidhi.
At the same time his love and pride in Nidhi comes across when he talks to Kaka... its like he wants to share that joy with someone, he wants to talk about Nidhi to someone... that was very sweet, really!
And finally Mallika getting right into the role! Picking up where she left off two years ago! So confident that Nidhi is an airhead, that she blindly assumes Nidhi would still be the intern who did not complete her internship. Loved Nidhi's response showing some dignity and Ashu... Hmmm, has seen and heard it now. If he still needed any proof of Nidhi's words, there it was! And what a rebuke, anyone would shrivel and die at that... but Mallika, once more trying to insert herself where she should not! Loved him when he acted in a just manner as he took Nidhi with him.. he was just being fair! Which is exactly what he should be.. fair is good, being blindly partial to Mallika is not! Hope he keeps his eyes and ears open now!

Hi Suvika
Good morning😊
Good morning Vidya...
Wonderful . Enjoyed reading.See i already had mentioned you are going to sooth effects of last chapter ending.😆 yes.. that you did. 👍🏼
I can imagine Mallika's face on hearing Dr.Nidhi's professional details given by Dr.Asuthosh.
clouds are moving indeed.😃yes they are. In this chapter. 😉
Already waiting for next chapterFriday as usual.
Congrats on another new thread, the little angels of the thread were working hard last night!!!!
The expression stabbed the key viciously through the keyhole' summarised the feeling of Nidhi. Of course the sharp mind of Nidhi is having a battle with the silly heart, It must have been tough to let the heart supersede the head, or was it obvious?
The convo between the two friends was very heart warming. Nidhi's confession that she only wanted to store up memories was very touching, though I am sure she knew it was not only about storing up memory, it was also about her faith in love that things may turn around. I guess Anji wa more of a sounding board at that point of time. You brought up Anji's helplessness beautifully.
Yes Ashutosh confesed that he flunked in his love exam, but why couldn't he call Nidhi when she was no where to be seen after the dance? Was he convinced that Nidhi ran away because she could not face Mallika, in that case should he not have tried to take this chance to demonstrate that Mallika does not stand a chance? He knew of Nidhi's insecurities din't he? Please make Ashu's character little more stronger than it is right now.
Armaan and Ranganath trying their best, to mend things. Their characters (the contrast in the character included) are sketched very well. I am sure ASHNI will acknowledge these two people's contribution to their love life in due course.
Mallika is gradually being put in place. So I am not worried about that angle. I like the way you described Nidhi's walking pace, apart from the fact that she had difficulty keeping with Ashutosh's pace, to me it came as aaj kaal pao jamin par nehi parte mere'. The heart again taking over the head in a subtle way.
And Suvi, I hope you are going to give us an exciting professional scene in CCH ( with some romantic moments thrown in between).
Another request can you build some scene between ASHINI around the day when Nidhi's final result comes out? Just an idea, inspired by the pride in Ashutosh's voice each time he hears/ mentions that Nidhi has trained to be a neurologist.
Chapter 8 Review:
Nidhi has fled the scene after seeing Mallika! Her thought and words to Anji show how badly she was hurt in the past, not only by Mallika's taunts, jibes and manipulations but also by his constant blind support of the said friend. So she ruthlessly curses herself for giving in to her desire of spending sometime with him, time alone without his friend hanging around as guardian.
that had been the main temptation for her. Ashutosh without Mallika. She couldn't resist and her wall cracked. Now Mallika is back and she has to rebuild that wall and cover all the cracks to protect her heart.
Felt very bad for her, her distrust of him comes across so well. Now she clearly expects him to forget all about her, her love and hang around with his friend. Will she ever be able to trust him?
Tough to say. It will take time and it won't be easy for him to win her now. She would be waiting for him to hurt her. Again.
Once again she decides to leave rather than face more heart break!
exactly. now she is all set for the past to repeat and knows that she is as vulnerable as she ever was irrespective of what she projects on the outside. So the only option left for her is to leave. Not give either of them the opening at all.
The phone call of the elves... Armaan is a one interesting guy! So, they are going ahead with their plan.. in fact coming to think of it that plan has been made just in the nick of time... this time Destiny has given a helping hand!
YUP!! 👍🏼
Armaan's words clearly show his dislike for what Mallika did the last time. Atleast he was aware of the going ons... maybe because he has always been abreast of the gossip in KGH unlike Ashutosh who in a few matters has been like a crane with its head stuck in the sand.
Its not just that. No one had dared to gossip or comment within his hearing. And this love..the way it blind sided and hit him... he didn't think all angles...was too busy dealing with his fears and insecurities.
And this time seems like Armaan has high hopes from the gossip! And that phone call to Ashu was just in time... just when he thought Nidhi would break away and flee, the elves come to the rescue! And he knows and acknowledges it!
Yes. He knows he owes them BIG time this time around.
But wait! What do we have here... a pensive Ashutosh! Wow, for a change he is thinking of Nidhi and not Mallika! Seems as if he has been listening to Nidhi more carefully now, studying her more...
Yes. The heart stone version of her that he is seeing now is the biggest wake up call of all. That clubbed with that conversation they had in his car that night..he is seeing things in a different light.
Bang on. Wrote the same thing above. Yeah..he should be vigilant or lose her forever.
At the same time his love and pride in Nidhi comes across when he talks to Kaka... its like he wants to share that joy with someone, he wants to talk about Nidhi to someone... that was very sweet, really!
Thank you. I liked that too. his baba is not there and kaka is like his family now.
And finally Mallika getting right into the role! Picking up where she left off two years ago! So confident that Nidhi is an airhead, that she blindly assumes Nidhi would still be the intern who did not complete her internship.
Yeah. she didn't change so kind she expected everything also to remain unchanged.
Exactly. He was not supporting Nidhi or choosing Nidhi over Mallika here. He was just being fair. Which is just the way it should be.

Congrats on another new thread, the little angels of the thread were working hard last night!!!!
Thank you Ishani.. and yes...I slept and woke up to page 146. I was like...😲 😲 😆
The expression stabbed the key viciously through the keyhole' summarised the feeling of Nidhi. Of course the sharp mind of Nidhi is having a battle with the silly heart, It must have been tough to let the heart supersede the head, or was it obvious?
NO. Not obvious. it was a fierce battle for her. Heart Vs Mind. Sometimes mind won and sometimes the heart.
Anji had always been that to Nidhi...or rather both of them to each other. best friends and sounding boards...glad that conversation and Anji's feelings came out well.
Stronger. yes. But he can't become stronger overnight. He has to learn. And like any learning...its a process. As to why he didn't call her...would she have picked up his phone had he called? If she was insecure...then so was he. Esp since he knew or rather guessed that Nidhi saw him with Mallika...the friendly hug, the smile..both of them talking...
Armaan and Ranganath trying their best, to mend things. Their characters (the contrast in the character included) are sketched very well. I am sure ASHNI will acknowledge these two people's contribution to their love life in due course.
They will.
Mallika is gradually being put in place. So I am not worried about that angle. I like the way you described Nidhi's walking pace, apart from the fact that she had difficulty keeping with Ashutosh's pace, to me it came as aaj kaal pao jamin par nehi parte mere'. bang on in that one.
And Suvi, I hope you are going to give us an exciting professional scene in CCH ( with some romantic moments thrown in between).
I took up one case. Lets hope it will come out well and you all will like the whole scene.
Another request can you build some scene between ASHINI around the day when Nidhi's final result comes out? Just an idea, inspired by the pride in Ashutosh's voice each time he hears/ mentions that Nidhi has trained to be a neurologist.
Already being taken care of Ishani. No worries on that score. Thanks loads and loads for this long review. 🤗❤️ just loved it. truly.
