Chapter 20... phew... Finally... .. I am so relieved... after this post I can start bugging you for the next chapter... .. This is tougher than writing an exam I say!!
I am happy to see Nidhi share this news personally with Col. Verma... It is as much his achievement as it is hers... Any parent will be proud.. not all of us can see their faces while sharing such good news.. so I loved the father- daughter conversation... So needed i tell you.

Okay.. let me summarize my initial reaction here... I thought this chapter was packed with too much ... like each paragraph had a story of its own... no continuity issue.. just I personally left it could have gone a little more in detail...
(Okay... don't or ... I know I am a critic.. and I wouldn't be able to write to save my life...
but still... my 2 cents worth of opinion... )
For example...
Anji, after her initial hiccup at realizing that a part of her best friend's life doesn't include her, has now in her own way befriended her jeeja.
I personally thought you had scope to explain it via ... a situation.. (No romance here so no excuse... .. )
Again
In a way, these 2 months are a good break for the couple, giving them time to spend with each other and get used to living with each other on a day in day out basis. They did make an odd kind of couple and some of his friends still thought it weird that CV agreed to this match. But whenever he saw the glowing face of his daughter, all his apprehensions vanish.
I know you are in a hurry to reach the next portion.. This explains.. the kuch toh log kahenge.. and given how you had beautifully describe the different doc reactions before the wedding.. I thought CV
apprehension could also have been addressed.
Conversation about the period between Ashu and Nidhi... a little too much in detail I thought... but... (Please don't hate me for the negative comments... )
BB- Ashu conversation was awesome.. ( I remembered the episode on TV when Ashu asked Nidhi to leave and BB did nothing... So this was what I would have loved to see... when she left...worried 👍🏼 )
Ashu's anger apt... and his angst correctly worded..
(he goes into the study and is about to close the door literally on her face but she stops it with her hand and pushes her way inside)
I thought this is exactly how she wormed her way into his heart.. 👏👏..
How well you portrayed Ashu's fear of hurting her... .. I loved this every bit...
Ashu's anger, Nidhi apologizing, Ashu's fear, and in return Nidhi's anger... great flow.
BB - Nidhi convo..👍🏼 .. how well all of them have bonded.. Responsible Nidhi is nice to see.. (Rather than one who kept running from the hospital.. )

sometime around the middle of the night Ashu wakes up to the feel of Nidhi sliding on top of him and wrapping herself around him with a deep sigh. He tightens his arms around her even without fully waking up, his sigh of content echoing hers.
I loved this ... great way to show them patch up.. and yet no ego... Super Duper...
... Wah kya Plan hai...
She is either in the kitchen with HK or at the washing machine or up on the terrace drying the clothes.
This is soo the story of our lives... We try and juggle everything and snuggling and talking to one's partner often takes a back seat... How Ashu felt contempt and left out.. He thinks he has slipped on Nidhi's priority list... So very natural..
Armaan and Ashu conversation was bang on!!... Armaan is such a sweetheart always the best advise!!
Some of Armaan's dialogues were
-you have to learn the art of communication
-you had your chance at your career completely uninterrupted. Let her have it too
-and with your age gap YOU have a chance to get some flexibility in your work and help her out. have you thought of it that way
Ashu Nidhi argument.. They needed to talk to each other.. Very well explained...
They should be our role models I tell you.. They fought and patched up all so quickly... If only we could too...
Ashu is ever so caring... BB now feeding Rasam to Nidhi... .. Cheery on the Cake I tell you.. Ashu learning how to tackle Anji... 👏
